  This week we have a classic Estate Sale with at least sixty years of accumulation in the Valley View Estates community of Farmers Branch.  This sale is packed with an interesting mix of vintage to current items.  We have clothing for men and women (small/medium sizes) including shoes (men’s & women’s), purses and vintage costume jewelry along with lots of interesting travel chests and cedar chests.  There is plenty of nice bedding (mostly Full & Queen) including some handmade quilts and bedspreads.  We assorted dishes and stemware along with some interesting serving bowls.  In the back yard, patio and garage we have a great assortment of hand tools, power tools, lawn and garden tools, ladders, a very nice desk, bookcases, storage shelves and vintage chandeliers.  Come early for best selection.  We’ll limit the number of people in the house and will distribute sequential numbers to those who are waiting to enter.  Thanks for your patience!

  Entry / Living Room / Checkout Area – features a nice lighted curio cabinet with beveled glass and a converted stereo cabinet / storage unit.  We have a collapsible plant stand with round shelves and two matching mid-century arm chairs with original upholstery.  We have some interesting boxes, fireplace tools, a mirror and a vintage leather foot rest / bench.  We have two solid wood bookshelves along with assorted Santa dolls and Christmas dishes, glass cups and holiday glasses.  We have a few Asian accent pieces including a vintage porcelain doll with aqua dress.  We have lots of men’s cufflinks and tie tacks along with vintage necklaces, bracelets, earrings and a basket of vintage perfume.  We also have key chains, pens and pencils (some sets) and other interesting items in the glass case.  We have a nice end table with a drawer and a lower shelf and a matching 6-sided end table with storage.  Both are in excellence condition.  We also have a mid-century couch with open wood arms and a nice coffee table to match.  We have a very nice wool Pakistan rug (not soiled) that is 5’ x 7’ (great colors).  We have two large table lamps that are different from each other.  There are lots of knick-knacks and unusual items to choose from.  Come early for the best selection.

  Dining Room – features a vintage mahogany side table with lots of interesting silver plated items.  We have a large wreath on the wall and a nice three sided iron table with solid top.  It could be used as a bar, entry table or side table in kitchen.  Then we have a corner of the dining room dedicated to Baylor University.  We have jackets, jerseys, t-shirts, shirts, cups, children’s outfits, caps, pillows, towels, bags, blankets, ornaments, water bottles and more.  There is a nice dining table (in great condition) with three leaves.  The pads are included.  Then we have six dining chairs (one is an arm chair), and we have a two-door hutch with storage below (all in great condition).  There is also a pair of tall black pedestals and some framed wall art.  We have boxes of linens, table clothes, napkins and placemats.  Come early for the best selection.  We have dishes, stemware, bowls, platters, cake plates, serving dishes, and more.

  Kitchen / Eating Area – features some cookbooks and a large painting of fruit along with two framed pictures of roosters.  We have a nice solid farm table.  The table holds dome interesting items like; tile and wood tray, pounded aluminum.  We also have vintage juice glasses with a caddy, a dish set, pitchers with matching glasses, a punch bowl and much more.  Under the table in boxes we have paper goods, bakeware and plastic containers.   There is a vegetable bin, a tin picture and two different carts on casters.  One is a three shelf yellow and the other is a three-shelf white.  We have a vintage wood step stool with handle and lots of interesting items on the carts.  We have vintage pots and pans along with assorted small appliances such as; crock pots, a single electric burner, a coffee grinder, two electric knives, a blender, and a can opener.  We also have a food processor and a vintage classic blender.  There is also an electric water heater, a shake mixer, a toaster oven, and vintage thermoses.  We have Pyrex baking / serving dishes, roasting pans, Sharp microwave oven and a Kenmore fridge / freezer.  We have 1950’s 1 through 6 cups, green and amber glasses and lots of one of kind cups with sayings.  We have vintage Mikasa (light and lively), yellow and white dishes, and other small vintage sets as well like Syracuse china.  We have a vintage aluminum four-piece canister set and a decorative 3-piece green set.  We have a vintage sunbeam mixer, and three containers of kitchen utensils.  There is a lot more, so come early to get the real bargains.

  Double Garage – features assorted book shelves.  Most are solid wood.  There are some small Christmas items and wreaths.  We have an electric 10” motorized bench saw by Delta.  The tables in the middle have electrical, plumbing, and lots of hand tools.  It will take you a while to see it all.  There is a Galaxy white fridge / freezer and a few small fans.  We have heaters, step ladders (short and tall), dog food containers, coolers, a metal storage rack, and a great wood desk.  There are two chandeliers and assorted shelving and shelving units.  We have assorted drawer organizers (sold with items in the drawers).  We have assorted screws, nails washers and nuts and a Franklin Foundry bell /disc sander. We have a vintage projector and slide projector.  The vintage wood desk is really in great shape for its age.  We have a Viewlex and a Kodax Carousel Custom 860H with auto focus.  We have a metal cabinet with lots of little drawers (a great find) and a wood tool box with rulers on the outside (another great find).  There is a Hanson utility scale, two Coleman lanterns, and trouble lights, extension cords, paint brushes, and desktop electric calculators.  We have a Milwaukee heavy-duty 12 volt hi-torque driver drill and two fishing chairs.  We have organizing units, stereo car speakers, components and all sorts of car-related stuff.  We have totes and bins to help get organized and other assorted items just waiting for you.  This garage is packed full of items just waiting to be discovered.  You will have fun looking and digging (a little) discovering what’s available in this garage.  Come early for the best selection. 

  Family Room – features multiple book cases that hold a variety of items.  We have books, and some bags of bags.  We have an entire closet dedicated to Christmas decorations including lights, wreaths, Christmas ties, towels and stockings, along with wall plaques and statues.  We also have a rolling book rack (on casters), a vintage wood record cabinet / storage unit and multiple safes with keys.  We have a vintage rectangle shaped hassock, a box of frames, a small folding stepstool, a tall standing Santa, wall art / plaques, and a CD cassette player with built in speakers.  There is a rolling cart with storage at the bottom and a vintage Realistic record player (works) with AM/FM radio in great condition.  There is also a wood Lectern and a great wood Executive desk.  We have two hassocks / benches, a table top book rest and a rotating book (table-top) storage unit.  These are hard to find.  There is a two drawer file cabinet, office desk items and office chairs.  We have a Visio Smart TV (1080p) with remote and a nice TV stand, Vintage TV trays and a semi-rounded front table desk with side table.  There is also a round table from the Baker hotel and a vintage wood Lazy-Suzan in great condition.  We have two IBM Electric Selectric II Typewriters (one is correcting).  We have another small wood desk and a small wood table with a bench.  We have lots of cameras and lenses (most have their own bags and protective cases).  Come early for the best selection.  There is a reclining love seat – each seat reclines separately.  It’s in good condition (great for relaxing).  We have framed pictures and a nice floor lamp with small round table.  We have a vintage lemon yellow ottoman.  We have wood 3’ rulers, a table with four wire mesh storage drawers (a great craft table).  We have an exercise bike - an Air Geometer by DP made in USA.

  Utility Room – features lots of hats and caps along with two storage shelf units.  One is black the other is white.  We have an iron and ironing board along with s small vacuum cleaner.  We have luggage and smaller travel bags / totes.  We have two wheelchairs.  One is a cruiser II and the other is a Drive.  We also have crutches, a portable potty chair, and three folding walkers (one is new).  We also have a Drive walker with hand breaks and seat and a shower chair.

  Covered Patio Area / Backyard – features; lots of yard and garden tools along with hedgers and blowers.  We have lots of gold clubs with bags (at least 6 sets).  We have a metal cabinet with small drawers and a metal table.  There are four alloy wheels for a Lincoln, a Radio Flyer Wagon with Canopy, ladders, a wood library ladder, and a child’s bicycle. We have a vintage Sears’s wagon and Little Tikes peddle car.  We have car ramps, power equipment tables and a vintage Bar-B Que. We have a wide variety of chairs; fold out plastic (stackable) and metal folding chairs.  There are also hanging stars in silver and red.  The back yard has lots of interesting items including a Dixon ZTR (needs work) and a well-used wheelbarrow along with a small trailer to pull behind a lawn and garden tractor or mower.  We also have some Ohio Forge Metal Tables, vintage metal stools and a large cooler.  Come early to get the best deals.

  Hallways – features hall rugs and items on the walls, some garland, framed art and a needlepoint Easter them rug, umbrellas, women’s slips, and more.

  Bedroom / Boutique / Sewing – features lots of vintage fabrics, and lots of sewing notions and a nice wood book case and a smaller three drawer plastic storage piece.  We have a nice area rug that is 5’ x 7’ and Singer sewing machine # 401A (it works) with a nice wood cabinet.  There are lots of vintage patterns to choose from.  This room is filled with all sorts of different era chests.  We have two vintage large and two vintage small wood drawer chests with a swivel mirror and original small caster feet in good condition.  We have a more modern four drawer wood chest and another four drawer wood chest with round wood knobs.  We also have a more vintage wood chest with metal handles.  We have a vintage wood and metal chair (needs work) and a full French provincial headboard with rails.  There are lots of women’s purses and tote bags to choose from along with an entire rack of women’s clothing.  There is still another nice wood chest in the corner of this room.  We have three sewing boxes full of notion items.  Come early for the best selection.

  Corner Bedroom / Boutique / Children’s – features a Vintage Necchi Julia; pink sewing machine, made in Italy (needs work).  This one comes with the foot pedal and a cabinet.  We have a Wool Pakistan rug in muted colors.  There is a camelback trunk painted red and a full bookcase head board with rails.  We have a vintage storage chest with outside doors and drawers inside for clothing or other supplies.  There is a nice double dresser with attached mirror and a nicer long desk with storage or desk / dresser combo with matching end table / night stand.  We also have rack of women’s clothing.  This room is packed with lots of interesting items like clothing for small girls and clothing for toddler boys and girls.  We have two vintage doll beds.  One has beanie babies and the other has children’s toys.  There is a Roll-A-Way Bed (single / twin) with foam mattress (with a white plastic cover).  It is covered with a green plastic protective cover (like new).  We have lamps (BNI) and curtain / drapes.  There are women’s hankies, shawls and scarves along with women’s gloves.  We have children’s books and activity books.  There is a vintage brass floor lamp with shade (BNI) and we have several women’s wallets, more lamps with shades and a mirrored vanity.  There also is a vintage vanity chair.  We have women’s shoes and sandals and children’s shoes.  The women’s clothing includes dresses, coats, jackets, blouses, and skirts.  There are some smaller knick-knacks and framed pictures in this room as well.  Come early for the best selection. 

  Master Bedroom / Men’s Clothing / Bedding – features two closets of men’s clothing; suits, sport jackets, short and long sleeve shirts, vests, sweaters, and pants.  There are lots of nice men’s leather shoes both slip on and tie.  We have a 1940’s waterfall tall chest of drawers and a matching waterfall cedar chest with shelf.  There are two vintage (1950’s) rocking reclining chairs with a 1950’s tension pole lamp with three lights (working).  We have two more cedar chests - one is a dark mahogany and the other is a more modern shabby chic style.  We have a shabby chic tall chest of drawers painted white and a nice wood fold down desk in a honey stain color.  We have a full wood honey color headboard and footboard with rails and metal spring.  There is a men’s vintage valet with seat, suit hangers and tray in good condition.  We have a two drawer plastic storage bin and lots of bedding.  The bedding consists of mostly full and queen sheet sets with some single pieces (marked).  There are a few king pieces as well as a few twin pieces.  We have assorted throws from soft store bought to homemade (crocheted) throws.  There are lots of blankets in a wide variety of colors.  Then we have lots of completed quilts as well as quilt toppers.  We have towels - bath, hand, and wash cloths.  There are men’s, gloves, socks, and hankies.  There are men’s jersey elastic waist shorts and tops, some men’s dress hats and boots.  There is also a bin of men’s wood shoe trees along with some men’s leather jackets and bomber like leather jackets.  We have some men’s belts and lots and lots of men’s ties.  Come early for the best selection of items.

  Master Bathroom – features two vintage laundry hampers, diapers bed pads, and a weight scale.  There is a foot spa, foot care items, a shower caddy, and a jewelry caddy with matching cosmetic bag.  There is a massager in box, a ceramic heater in box, and one out of the box.  We have over-the-counter creams, soaps, and cosmetic bags.  There are mirrors and a hair dryer, soap dishes, and bath set.  We also have new in package arch supports.  Come early for the best selection.
