Listing Information

While making notes for this ad, I was amazed at the diversity of the treasures all throughout the home.  You will notice this, too.

Leather love seat, leather chair and ottoman, Early American dining table, end tables are a small example of the furniture in this home.  The office area is where you can find the beautiful, solid oak roll top desk.  It was made in the 1880’s and originally lived in the St. Louis train depot.  From antique to contemporary, this home has a little bit of everything.

Amazing works of art can be found around every corner.  Most are original oils of Western scenes, Bluebonnets and Native American themes.  The same holds true for many of the decorative items.  Native American pottery, sand tiles and decoratives are works of art you can’t look away from!  Adding to the beauty are many colorful pieces of glassware; not to mention the collection of crosses.

When it comes to entertainment, we have all ages covered.  There are Nintendo, Xbox and Activision games and accessories.  We also have laptop computers, printers, keyboards and a selection of Sony components, including a turntable.  There is also a Gemini turntable “Vinyl to MP3” that connects to your computer.  It allows you to convert your albums to CDs.  Ahhh, technology…you gotta love it!  There are portable DVD players, too.  These are great for road trips!  At the other end of the spectrum we have vintage board games and toys, to include Lite Bright, an Easy Bake Oven and OPERATION, just to name a few!  When it comes to outdoor fun, check out the Kryptonics skateboard and the bicycles: a Malibu boy’s bike and a Huffy bike for girls.  Remember how much fun it was to twirl a baton?  Pick up the one we have and practice your “toss – turnarounds”!

For the folks looking for the vintage or antique sewing machines, we have two to choose from.  There’s a White “Rotary” antique machine and an Elgin “Rotary” machine in its own cabinet.  We also have fabric and an assortment of sewing notions.

Saving the best for last???  You decide……….the garage is not always just for cars!  This one is a treasure trove of unique vintage and antique finds.  Remember the old metal TV trays, the kind with their own stand?  Yep, there’s a great set here.  Three generations ago, the family came to Hermleigh, TX in a covered wagon to raise cotton on their new farm.  The original mule-drawn plow, an assortment of old tools and a kerosene lamp used on their farm are also here.  Beginning in the 1940’s the next two generations became pharmacists.  Items from their pharmacy can also be found in the garage.

You can see back in time and even own a piece of history.  Come see us and claim your treasure!!
