This auction features antiques and fine art from the Estate of Mary Jane Duncan, Savannah, GA. The Duncan’s were avid collectors of works by Georgia artist William Entrekin and many examples are available in this auction. A selection of fine furniture, carpets, outdoor furniture and sculpture, a large sporting painting by South Carolina artist Gilbert Maggioni and many Chinese vases now mounted as lamps are also available from the estate.

Other highlights include two lively paintings by Cecil Bell who studied at the Art Students League in New York City with John Sloan, a Belter Settee and armchair with original Belter bill of sale circa 1858, a John Dunlap school chest on chest on frame, a Marc Chagall lithograph, a breakfast table from the workshop of Duncan Phyfe, an assortment of quality English 18th century furniture including an outstanding George III mahogany breakfront bookcase, a mural-sized painting by Conrad Arthur Thomas, a signed Paul Evans “Cityscape” table and works by Savannah artists Myrtle Jones and Paul Stone.
