ARTWORK IN OILS, WATERCOLOR, ACRYLIC, AND MIXED MEDIA MANY TO BE SOLD FOR $295 OR LESS BERTHA G. DAVIS (1911 – 1997) was born in Lithuania and raised in Europe and Mexico. She moved to the United States in the late 1920s, beginning her painting career at the age of 40. Primarily known as a Colorist, she has produced a large and stylistically varied body of work that includes Romantic Expressionism, Abstraction and Surrealism. Her art has been exhibited and received critical acclaim in 200 Exhibits to include but not limited to New York, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Mexico, Israel and Europe. Bertha G. Davis Art is especially well known and embraced in many areas of Texas and the Southeast.
