One of the things I love about my job is getting to know families through the things they treasured.
I remember once seeing an exhibit at Ellis Island, it was titled "things that people brought with them to the new land".  Brought me to tears!

This weekend the family is a sweet one.  It would seem she loved entertaining her bridge friends, as Hazel had cookbooks and books on flower arranging, along with the tell tale signs of those cute vintage embroidered tablecloths and a few aprons, and an overflowing kitchen of gadgets and sm appliances, etc.  He was a career Skilsaw Employee winning awards as high as national salesman of the year.  Chuck was also quite talented in carpentry as he made all the cabinets for their kitchen.  Lots of tools in the garage and those fun Gerber baby food jars filled with nails and screws...Truly tho, I think his passion was Trains, 2 different "lots" of trains are offered.  Somewhere in their past the family lived in Alaska, and a grandfather worked for over 30 years at Hume Christian camp  They raised 3 boys, so there are a few fun vintage toys, this was a family that took care of their belongings!
