Listing Information

LARGE ESTATE AND RELOCATION AUCTION

SATURDAY JULY 28TH 10:00 AM. 1835 SOUTH PLEASANTS HIGHWAY, ST. MARYS WV From the intersection of Route 2 and the Ohio River bridge in SAt. Marys continue South on Route 2 for 3/4 mile. SAle is on the left. From Parkersburg take ROute 2 North for approximately 25 minutes and sale is on the right 3/4 mile before the St. Marys city limits. Watch for sign.

We will be selling the second installment of the Edna Maston estate and the third and final instalment of the Harris' furnishings and personal property plus some items from storage lot. This sale contains the largest variety of initeresting and useful items that we have sold for some time.  Categories include: furniture, collectibles, art, large and small appliances, outdoors and recreational items, glassware & china, primatives, advertising and display pieces, interior decorating, cooking and kitchen ware crochet & needlework, Native American collection, Zane Grey hardcover book collection, costume jewelry, CASE 580K BACKHOE END LOADER, "Fibre-Body" utility bed with ladder racks for 6&1/2 ft. pick-up bed, "Benchmade" caping knife with leather sheath  and much more in antique, vintage, and contemporary lots.

AUCTIONEERS NOTE: Rather than duplicate listing our over 200 gallery picures, I can simply say that we have three times the gallery number that haven't been pictured of collectible and useful items from three very nice homes that we must sell to clear the building for a large pending estate. We will be selling individual items, plus large and small lots and we will be selling fast. If you are a serious collector or resale buyer and don't like sitting all day at a sale where a few high profile items cause novice buyers to push prices on everything out of your reach, then come see us on Saturday. I don't think you will be disappointed. Neither will our clients, as they want to get the job done and move on.

ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS SO FAR: 1. There are approximately 43 (# correction) German soldiers & accessories most of which appear to be Elastolin by O&M Hausser. There are what look like numerous personality figures. Unfortunately one of Hitler's arms is missing, and 3 soldiers heads but most of the others look to be in good condition. 2. There are approximately 10 authentic (made by Native American) items. The featured Buffalo Warrior (Kachina doll) was purchased on the Arizona New Mexico border from chief F. Willie for $1000.00. It will sell Saturday for whatever it brings. 3. The Roseville pitcher is in excellent condition. We can't find a crack or chip anywhere. 4. The backhoe is old (1990), but the engine was removed and completely rebuilt several months ago by the Vocational Technical Center here in St. Marys. It runs great. The backhoe has the extender boom (an expensive option) and all functionms work. Likewise with the front end loader. It has a hdrolic leak on one outrigger, and needs some brake work. However, it runs, digs and loads. 5.

TERMS OF SALE:   CASH OR CHECK WITH GOOD ID.

AUCTIONEERS: R. JAMES (JIM) BUCK WV #271 & LOWELL GOFF WV #330
