Highlighted in the urban/graffiti art category will be original paintings by Vestie Davis (New York City View), Richard Hambleton (Shadow Man), LA II (Angel Ortiz), Ivan Laycock, R. H. Muller and others.

European and American original art will include but not limited to the works of the German artist: R. Wagner, British artists: James Aumonier, J. Bergen and Stephen Renard, Dutch artists: Walter Neuhof and Roelof Dozeman, Japanese artist: Saito, Brazilian artist: Durval Pereria, American artists: Louis K. Harlow, Evelyn Dubiel and others.

Our illustration art selection will include several works by Maurice Sendak (Wild Things), J. H. Thornely (Aesop’s Fables), Margaret Tomes, Paul Bransom (Liberty Cover Art, 1946), McClelland Barclay, Mercer Mayer, Pamela Bianco, Stephen Renard (Titanic Memory), Beni Montresor (Witches of Venice), Tomi Unger, John Fischetti and so many more.

Collection of American and European jewelry from the 19th and 20th centuries will include antique Victorian Bohemian garnet jewelry; 14k and 18k gold, coral, diamond, turquoise, opal and garnet jewelry.

Highlighting this selection will be a Georg Jensen sterling silver turquoise brooch, Margot de Taxco for M. Castillo sterling silver enamel brooch and a Navajo turquoise silver cluster cuff bracelet.

Our category of objet d’art is diverse and eclectic.   Although too many items to mention, selected items will include: bronze bust by Albert Carrier-Belleuse (Beethoven), Mexican modernist bronzes by Humberto Peraza and Perez Guilloume, several art nouveau bronze sculptures (nudes), marble sculptures by Viola Baer,  Japanese bronze basket vase, Wlaysewski sculpture of the African continent, including a large bronze hippopotamus and polychrome frog sculptures.

Not to be overlooked is the Atelier Primavera Langwy Les Baigneuses vase, Moorcroft Vase (Penguin),  Royal Copenhagen Amager sculptures (1922), art nouveau opalescent Koi glass vase, Hungarian bronze sculpture by Gyorgyi Lantos, Dresden cabinet plates.

Diversifying this section is over 150 original photographs from the Asian continent 1930-40s, several Persian rugs highlighted by a Qum hunting rug, British WW I flare gun, 18th century Dutch tobacco box, Russian icon of St. Nicholas, illuminated leaves from a Hebrew manuscript, several 19th century cobalt decorated stoneware crocks (F.B. Norton, Julius Norton) and a large rare antique painted cast iron pig doorstop (22”). 

In our (polite) erotic grouping we will offer two Chinese Shunga pillow books of erotic art; Shunga hanging scroll including erotic art by Pierre Stholl.

Sterling silver items include Reed & Barton centerpiece, Gorham pitcher and various flatware.

To warm one’s heart, we will offer a full-length Gucci mink coat with a 10” extension and a man’s Christie Brothers  custom shearling coat.

The ethnographic category includes several carved Katchina dolls, Native American bear fetish, Great Plains Sioux stone war club, Sioux pipestone tomahawk ceremonial pipe, Nellie Nampeyo polychrome pottery bowls and an Alaskan / Inuit soapstone carving.  Representing the other side of the world are Indian temple deity carvings, Japanese ceramics & woodblocks, miniature Persian paintings including an Anglo-Indian silver deity cane handle.
