Well folks, this week’s sale looks like we’ve fallen into a 1950’-’60’s time warp !! From the jewelry, 
to the clothing, and the fantastic findings, this one has been a real adventure ! Worth the trip.
 
The sale dates are Friday and Saturday, November 9th-10th, from (NOTE THE LONGER TIME FRAME ), 
9:00a.m.-3:00p.m. Yup, it’s gonna take y’all a while to look at, (and buy !) everything !! 
 
The house and garage are way beyond packed, the checkout lines will be long, and the shopping 
will be crowded. Don’t come see us wearing your cranky pants, or you will be asked to leave. 
Please don’t make us do that. We’ll have a security person on the premises, don’t make him do his job, please. 
 
The address is 212 Van Winkle, (Sleepy Hollow subdivision), in Lake Jackson. Sleepy Hollow is 
about a block North of Oyster Creek Drive/College Drive, off Old Angleton Rd.  Take  a right, (or a left, 
if you’re coming from 2004), go over the railroad tracks, Van Winkle is the first right. Be aware, the 
streets are very narrow !!! Do NOT park in driveways, or in ditches, or block the traffic flow, or you’re 
poor parking skills can reward you with a citation from the local constabulary. (And, trust me, 
they have their pencils sharpened !) 
 
THERE WILL BE NO SMALL CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE SALE LOCATION.  No strollers, no back 
packs, no oversized purses/handbags.  If you choose to bring them, you’re agreeing to their being 
searched, if needed. 
 
We do accept credit card payments, cash, and approved checks. If you’re a dealer/reseller, please 
make sure we have your paperwork on file, or you WILL pay sales tax. 
 
Large or bulky items will be sporting two-part purple tags. If you desire to buy an item, take ONLY 
THE BOTTOM HALF of the tag, and keep it with you. That tells the EL workers that the item is 
considered sold. If you change your mind, please give the bottom of the tag to an EL worker, 
so it can be reattached to the item. 
 
Estate Liquidators does NOT provide loaders, haulers, nor pack mules. If you buy a large or bulky 
item, please make arrangements to have it moved.
 
We DO charge sales tax, folks. We aren’t your granny’s garage sale, we’re a real business. 
 
The jewelry area is crowded, if you’re a self-proclaimed jewelry “expert”, please leave your desire 
to announce it at the door.  Jewelry items will be bagged, with your name on the bag, and left at the 
jewelry table, until you’re ready to check out. 
 
If you have pricing issues with items, don’t stand around and whine to the checkers, they aren’t 
paid to listen to that. Please come find me, I’ll take care of any of your issues….
