Live in-house bidders pay a 10% buyers premium with a 3% convenience charge for credit cards or PayPal. Online bidders pay a 15% buyers premium with 3% convenience charge for credit cards or PayPal. All in-state bidders shall pay 7% Indiana state tax unless a tax exempt form has been provided. All items are sold as is unless guaranteed by grading in catalog or in writing in advance. We ship to those that cannot make it here in person. We get commercial pricing from FedEx and USPS and pass those savings on to our customers. We do charge a packing materials and handling fee to cover our expenses but are not profiting from the process.

FANTASTIC MODEL AND TOY TRAIN AUCTION WITH LIVE AND ONLINE BIDDING

Large auction of many vintage toy and model trains of various gauges and scales. We will have hundreds of pieces of rolling stock, locomotives and accessories. This will be a mixed sale of several different consignors items but the majority will be from the Dave Christianson collection with many additions from the Joseph M Bak Jr. collection which will provide many HO locomotives, some Thomas O scale pieces in original boxes, a large amount of Marx, Lionel and American Flyer trains. We have LGB G scale trains plus lots of different HO trains in original boxes such as vintage Tyco Red Box, Mantua, Athearn kits, Roundhouse kits, many various Monon HO and scale cars and locomotives. This is easily the most Monon pieces I have ever seen in one collection with at least 200 pieces to be sold in February and April with ALL of the O gauge pieces being sold in february. These were manufactured Lionel, MTH, Athearn, Atlas and others.
The Saturday session will include a nice selection of Postwar Lionel and some American Flyer postwar S gauge including an orange 625 tank car that has minor warpage plus Marx 3/16 O with many hard to find and downright rare accessories including a large gantry crane, dwarf signal and others with some in original boxes. Keep checking back for updates all the way up until we have the catalog online 2 weeks before the sale date.
For those traveling more than a days drive away, the Red Roof Inn in Kentland is the closest hotel and offers discounted rates to our customers, just mention Toystrainsandotheroldstuff Auction house when booking a room or checking in and they will give you a discounted rate from their normal prices, their phone number is 219-474-5700. There are also many hotels to choose from in Lafayette and West Lafayette, which are 30 miles away. Auctions will start promptly at 10AM with preview from 8AM-10AM before each days sale. Complimentary sandwiches, water, coffee and dessert for all bidders in attendance. Plenty of parking, indoor restroom available, no smoking inside auction house or within 20 feet of door. Online bidding will be available with a 15% buyers premium and a 3% convenience fee for credit or paypal. Live in house buyers premium is 10% with 3% convenience fee for credit cards.
