THIS AUCTION:  Note:  11/22 - still adding more items.  Please keep checking back!  This is the 2nd sale in this home.  There are so many items, we had to split the sale into two events.  This was an 'entertaining' house full of great decorator and dinner party items!  Great furniture - Willett Cherry furniture, drop-leaf table, two sets of dining room chairs, cherry bedroom set, French Provincial bedroom pieces, vintage waterfall bedroom set, cedar chest, accent tables, sofa, leather wingback and more.  Entertaining for all - sterling and silver plate, trays, china sets, crystal - Nippon, Limoges, Lefton, Fostoria.  Wonerful vintage jewelry and linens, plus blankets, sheets, towel sets.  Many framed Paul Sawyiers, plus vintage and contemporary framed art.  Have you ever seen a vintage steam laundry press or beehive refrigerator?  Come see two that are in excellent condition.  Antique original oil painting.  Many vintage items - cast iron figures, beer steins, dolls, toys, books, lamps.  Multiple vaccum cleaners, washer, dryer, refrigerator.  Full area of Christmas items - wreaths, ornaments, nativity scenes, tree, paper, bags, decorator items.  The Cash-n-Carry Story will be restocked with lots of Christmas things!

Preview:

Please use our Preview date to come view all items.  PREVIEW - Friday, November 22nd from 4-6pm and Tuesday, December 3rd from 2-4pm.    You will need to RSVP in order to receive an email the day of the Preview with the exact address.  RSVP to email:  AuctionLex@Gmail.com.  State in your email that this is your RSVP to receive the address for the Lansdowne Rd Sale II.  The address will not be released to the general public.   NOTE:  we will have a Cash-n-Carry Store open for this sale.  Fill-for-$5 boxes of small items.  Please bring cash. 

CASH-n-CARRY STORE - we will also have a Cash-n-Carry Store during Preview.  You will be given a box that you can fill for $5 with all kinds of household items, decorator items, knick knacks. Bring cash!  You can purchase as many boxes as you like.  We will also have a Clothing Room open that is full of high-end ladies clothing (mostly size 8 and S-M).  MANY clothing items still have the original tags on them!  Great designer labels at bagain prices.  Give yourself enough time to look through about 8 racks of clothes. All clothes are on hangers/racks and most are nicely pressed.  (You will not be digging through boxes!)  We also have some men's designer suits and jackets.)  If you end up buying more than expected and do not have enough cash on hand, we can also process a credit card payment with a 3% fee added. 

Bidding Instructions:

We have made every effort to describe this item as accurately as possible with any defects. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage and used items.  We do not list every flaw.  All items are sold AS IS.  No refunds or returns.  CT does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device.  Dimensions given may be approximate.  The preview has been scheduled so you may determine the condition of the product yourself.  Please take advantage of this opportunity.

A bid is an agreement to purchase the item(s).  You are committed to purchasing and picking up your winning item(s).  Please do not bid, if you do not plan to purchase.  Bidding priviledges may be suspended if you default on this agreement.   

Note:  This is an Absolute Auction with No Reserves.  The items in this auction are from one estate.  Allen B. Prewitt is the primary online auctioneer and Lea Nugent is the auction house operator & apprentice auctioneer for this sale.  All bidders must be at least 18 years old.

Payment:

Seller requires pre-payment through PayPal.  Payment must clear PayPal before pick-up, so please process payment as soon as you receive your invoice.  A 10% buyers premium and 6% KY sales tax will be added to each purchase. NOTE:  all out-of-state buyers are required to pay KY sales tax. For special payment arrangements (other than PayPal) or to provide resale certificate (tax exemption), please email us at AuctionLex@gmail.com.  Resellers are required to provide a copy of their tax exemption form and sign the KY Resale Tax Form that we will keep on file.  If we have not received payment or heard from you by Pick-up Day, you forfeit your right to the items and your name will be removed from our auction site.  If you pay and do not pick-up, the items will be considered abandoned and no refund will be given.  There are late fees that apply to any items with late pick-up arrangements:  $10 per Lot and $20+ for furniture pieces.  Late fees must be paid in cash at time of pick-up.  

Pick-up Instructions:

All pick-ups will take place at the home.  The address will be included on your electronic invoice after the auction closes.   The house location is conveniently located off Lansdowne Road close to the Signature Club.  Note:  most of the items are located in the basement for this sale.  You will have to use either the interior stairs or exterior stairs (weather permitting) to remove your items.    

All items MUST be picked up during our scheduled pick-up time - Saturday, December 7th from 9-1pm.  Please do not bid, if you cannot pick-up on this day or are willing to pay for delivery services.  The house must be clear on Saturday. 

If you fail to pay for and pick-up your items on-time, or make alternate payment or delivery arrangements with us prior to Pick-up Day, your items will be resold and your name removed from our database.   If you pay for your items, but fail to make late pick-up arrangements (late fees apply on all late pick-ups), your items will be considered abandoned and no refund given.  The items become the property of CT and maybe resold or donated.

NOTE - PLEASE BRING ENOUGH HELP TO LIFT, CARRY AND LOAD YOUR ITEMS.  THIS IS A ONE STORY HOME WITH A FULL BASEMENT TOO.   

Shipping - YES:

Our shipping arrangements are simple, using a professional shipping company, without a bunch of added fees.  If shipping is desired, please email us at AuctionLex@gmail.com prior to auction close.  We need to know that you will be using our shipping service if you win any items.  Once you have paid for your items, we will notify our shipper.  They will pick-up your paid items and contact you to arrange shipping.  You will pay them directly with your credit card.  You may discuss shipping preferences and request two quotes from the lowest cost carriers.  There are no additional CT charges for this service, plus a 10% discount will be given on all shipping for this auction.  If you would like to get a shipping quote on a particular Lot before the auction closes, please email the Lot (click on the 'Email this item' icon right above the current bid information) to our shipper (The UPS Store - store5481@theupsstore.com, phone 859-543-0220).

Local Delivery - YES:

We have also arranged a convenient and cost-effective delivery service.  If you require delivery, please email us at AuctionLex@gmail.com prior to auction close.   Basic delivery fees are $60 per delivery within Fayette County, +$20 for each additional county line.  Extra fees for pianos, clocks, larger/heavy loads.  A delivery day will be arranged - most likely for Saturday.  There are no additional CT charges for this service.  Cash payment will be due to the movers at time of delivery.
