Deadlines and close of Internet auction bidding: Items will begin to close five items per minute at the scheduled date and start time of the online auction, and will sell to the winning Internet bidder at that time. The items will close in the item order that is listed on the website. The online auction features an automatic extension system which grants a five minute extension to the end of the auction for any item receiving a bid during the last few minutes. The item will then close when five minutes have elapsed without any activity. Some auctions can extend several hours depending on the size of the auction and activity of the bidding of each item. Please be aware that many bidders routinely increase their own bids to price an item out of reach of other bidders. The system will ask you to review your bids after placing them to make sure you did not enter an amount in error. It is important that you please pay careful attention to prevent you from entering a bid in error.
