If you DO have a valid resale certificate, then PLEASE bring your certificate and paperwork to show us........OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED SALES TAX !! We verify certificates ON SITE (on smart phone) at the State Board of Equalization website !!!! Any estate seller who is NOT charging, and remitting, sales tax to the state of CA, is breaking the law. *** PLEASE NOTICE.......We hand out numbers 1 hour prior to the opening of the sale to those who are PHYSICALLY IN LINE. If you chose to place a marker to hold a place in line before numbers, then you MUST stay around the property to watch over your marker. The estate sale staff is NOT AT ALL respondsible for unattended markers or if you are NOT there when we hand out numbers. PAYMENTS: Cash Personal checks Credit cards accepted over $25((under $100 there is a $2 bank service fee)) EVERYTHING will be sold......."AS IS" & "WHERE IS" and that's how we sell it.....(did you see how I did that?) There are NO returns so PLEASE.......look over your purchases carefully BEFORE buying. Please inspect your purchases BEFORE buying.......there are NO RETURNS for any reason. Once it leaves the house, it does not come back !! NOTHING will be pre-sold !! Everything you see in the photos is what is at the sale !! (( unless the family decided to keep something at the last minute, after all, it is their stuff )) You MUST bring your own truck, tools & help......we DO NOT help you remove large items. WELCOME FRIENDS & SHOPPERS !! Here we are....back up in L.A. for another elegant estate sale. This estate has some beautiful artwork and decorative items in it and LOTS of nice clothes, shoes and nice costume jewelry....and some fine jewelry, too. Fine artwork is by: 2 pcs by Carl Peters (1897-1980), 1 titled, Path To The Bay, size 19" x 23" and 1 titled, Fishing Dock, size 25" x 29". Both oil on canvas and both purchased from the DeVille Gallery here in Los Angeles. 1 pc by Ronald Schapp, watercolor, 17" x 23", view of Hollywood Hills north of Hollywood Blvd. 1 Alabaster sculpture of a seal pup on rock by Terry Thornsley, 16" tall. 1 Beautiful etched and patinated brass Pier mirror with an abstract Chinoiserie pattern done by MasterCraft for Glabmans. 1 Lladro figurine, "Gathering Hay" 1 hanging Italian head figure, signed "Lenci" --------------------------------------------------------- We have a very nice, in tune, late 1980's Yamaha Ebonized Upright Piano & Bench that is in very nice condition. (I can recommend 2 piano movers if you need them) --------------------------------------------------------- CLOTHING: There are over 2,000 pcs of clothing here, MANY with tags and all of them are 'like new' condition. Dresses, shirts, tops, skirts, pants, coats, leather jackets and accessories. This is the most clothing, at 1 estate, we have had in the 10+ years we have been doing estate sales!! Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, White House Black Market, Lucky Brand and more in sizes 12/14 and shoes in 9/10......many new with tags.
