Terms of our sale are:
Cash, Good Local Check* or Valid Credit Card.
There is a 10% Buyer’s fee on all purchases however patrons paying by Cash or Check will not be charged a buyer’s premium. (In simple terms all credit card & debit card transactions will be charged a 10% processing fee.
*A local check is considered anything from Marion & south to Schott Auction Gallery, Pendleton & north to Schott Auction Gallery, Tipton & east to Schott Auction Gallery and Muncie & west to Schott Auction Gallery. All other patrons must pay cash or credit/debit card unless previously approved by Mike Schott – Owner/Auctioneer.
Schott Auction Gallery strives to disclose anything & everything we may know about items offered at our auctions. In some cases we can only rely on the information provided by consignors. However in NO case does Schott Auction Gallery, any employee, any contractor or consignor offer any guarantees, expressed or implied.
You, the bidder, are responsible for examining the item(s) you wish to purchase, forming your own opinion as to reliability and value, bidding accordingly. In forming you opinion keep in mind that all items offered at auction are sold “As Is, Where Is” with no guarantees.
7% Indiana Sales Tax collected per Indiana State Law. Tax Exempt – You MUST have a copy of your current Indiana Retail Merchant’s Certificate on file with us or you will pay tax. No exceptions!
