Caring Transitions has been tasked with liquidating the estate of a well-known Nashville furniture dealer's condo in West Nashville. Not only is this a mid-century Modern furniture museum (as one might expect from such a client--and it's nice stuff in fine condition!), there is a variety of art and decor galore to be had! Plus, there's a quantity of vintage (1970s-1980s) consumer electronics (speakers, tuner/amps, turntables by Advent, Kenwood, Sony, Bang & Olufsen and Bose, among others) that may make you salivate, especially if you were a college student back then. Bring 5 of your closest friends and check out client's cedar-paneled basement spa, with an enormous vintage Jacuzzi holding forth in its midst. On top of it all, Mary has listed this condo for sale, and will be on-hand for tours during both days of the estate sale. This one will sell fast, folks, so don't snooze! (And don't forget your walking shoes. Or you may start singing the blues . . . ) Parking is limited and please follow the signs and markers we've posted for your safety. Also, please note that you'll need to climb and descend two sets of very narrow spiral staircases to navigate this cozy tri-level dwelling, but we think your efforts will be rewarded! If you have difficulty climbing stairs, you might either want to sit this one out or send an emissary to shop for you. (Only the main level is "relatively" accessible via two moderate steps up into the front doorway.) Please plan to join us on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 for what promises to be a most interesting time! We'll post photos and a list of highlights in the next couple of days. Cordially, Mark & Mary McClure, Owners Caring Transitions of Greater Nashville
