1940's MAHOGANY DINING SUITE in very fine condition*. Vintage, Retro, Mid Century Modern Dining Suite by Lammert's Furniture of Character. One owner. MODERN EUROPEAN STYLE DINING SUITE- Very upscale, something special for those who prefer superio quality. Purchased 6 years ago for more than $5,000. Owner has changed location and regretably must part with this superb dining suite, impressively large and of undeniable quality. 11 pieces when counting the leaf and credenza and hutch separately.                                                    - RECTANGULAR TABLE measures 48" x 96" with double pedestal and wants a large dining room for proper display and use. Constructed of hardwood, it is heavy and very sturdy, supported by 2 sturdy pedestals adorned with acanthus leaf carvings and carved beaded trim. The top has a light color trim inlaid into each half of the table's beautiful rich wood. The photos absolutely do not do it justice!        - 8 CHAIRS of elegant design and plushly paddeds seats and backs for dining pleasure and comfort. Their design echoes that of the other pieces. Elegance, sensibility, comfort, and practicality combined.  - STEP-BACK CREDENZA is flanked on each end by fluted and carved balusters and boasts 3 large drawers and two doors which conceal storage areas, each of which is adorned by beaded trim within recessed panels which are dressed with classicly designed metal pulls. The top edge features carved beaded accents alternating with unadorned interspersements, while the base is adorned with corded, overlapping carvings and the entire cabinet rests upon fluted pillow feet.                                        The HUTCH is elevated on a rail base complemented by balusters with fluted pillow bases and adorned with carved acanthus leaf accents. Four arched beveled-and-cut glass doors enclose the glass-shelf display area which is flanked by plain balaster posts reaching to the double arched top. The arched top is adorned with wood trim resembling entertwined plain and beaded cording. The top arch is finished with overhanging moulding.                                                                                                       The elegance of this dining suite cannot be sufficiently described so I invite you to view the multiple photos to understand the quality and workmanship, then come see it. You will love it!                        I regret that there are no photos of the credenza and hutch together, but I could find no one strong enough to assist me in putting the hutch atop the credenza after the seller had it moved from the dining room.
