Listing Information

This week we are at a corner house that has been well loved; is clean and filled with goodies!  As you walk in the home, there is an antique clock sitting on an antique table.  A great addition to any décor.

 

You can find collections of porcelain birds, great assortment of bunnies, china tea cups and saucers, there is even a set of tea cups and saucers from each state!  There are bells, animal figurines, ashtrays, urns and vases of all sizes.  There are clocks, an assortment of David Winter Cottages Collectors Guild, roosters and wonderful blue and white porcelain balls! 

 

The dining room holds a beautiful mid-century Golden Oak table and 6 chairs with a beautiful green fabric cover.  You must see the vintage lemonade set!  There is cut glass and crystal serving pieces along with silver-plate items, too.  This home has lots of bakeware, corning ware pieces with lids, large selection of cookie cutters.  With summer coming on, the kids will love to use these when helping you in the kitchen!  There is a set of Pfaltzgraff dinnerware sitting on a wonderful Early American table that has 4 chairs with it.  We have some McCoy pottery, nesting hens and don’t miss the “Little Old Lady Who Lived in a Shoe” cookie jar!

 

There is art throughout the home, antique landscape prints to a numbered winking Betty Boop on a motorcycle.  Don’t miss the Maxfield Parrish print!  There are also coins, such as the framed Carson City Coins uncirculated: 1878, 1882 and 1883.  There is also a framed collection “The Silver Story” that is a must for any collector.

 

You will find a Singer Touch & Sew, in a cabinet along with sewing notions, patterns and lots of sewing hoops.  There is a wonderful assortment of quilt squares and antique quilt tops just waiting to be finished.  There is also a large selection of crocheted items in all shapes and sizes.

 

There is a great selection of lamps, desk to floor, we have ‘em all.  There is a leather recliner in a taupe color along with a recliner in a navy-blue fabric.  The large ottoman also has storage space inside.  You can also find a great bedroom suite with a dresser that has double mirrors, nightstand, chest and king size headboard.  There is a mid-century 4-drawer chest, a computer desk, an armoire and an assortment of tables: occasional, side and coffee.

 

You can also find ladies clothing and a large selection of ladies handbag for every occasion.

 

It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas decorations.  This would be a great place to start, especially if you love Santa as much as we do!  Lots and lots of Santas and other decorations looking to bring smiles to all.  There are also Christmas trees, one is even pre-lit so you don’t have to worry about lights!  There is a wonderful assortment of Christmas books and lots of them are Golden Books from the “baby-boomer” era!

 

The garage holds wonderful treasures too.  Out here is where is vintage Pogo stick lives and it still works great!  There is a Schwinn Airdyne exercise bicycle, vintage wall locker, a General Precision Graflex 16mm projector, yard tools, an aluminum railroad lantern, a vintage Kodak slide carousel, an antique gas heater and a vintage window fan. 

 

We also have available a porch swing, concrete edging, frog planters, a picnic table and benches, windchimes and a tall retro orange, metal stool.  No home should be without one.
