This auction is a combination of multiple estates with a wide variety of unique & one-of-a-kind items.  Highlights - Towle Sterling flatware set, original oil painting by C. Van Holst, beautiful vintage sterling & gold jewelry. Nice Art Deco & Mid-Century Modern furniture pieces.

Items will be available for Preview on Thursday, January 23 from 4 - 6pm.  The preview will take place at our warehouse located at 1411 Delaware Avenue (off Winchester Rd).  Stop by, take a look at the items in this auction and "PEEK" at the items coming up in our next auction too. 

    

Payment:

Please wait for your online invoice to be emailed to you prior to paying.  Seller requires pre-payment through PayPal.  Payment must clear PayPal before pick-up, so please process payment as soon as you receive your invoice.  A 10% buyers premium and 6% KY sales tax will be added to each purchase. NOTE:  all out-of-state buyers are required to pay KY sales tax. For special payment arrangements (other than PayPal) or to provide resale certificate (tax exemption), please email us at AuctionLex@gmail.com.  Resellers are required to provide a copy of their tax exemption form and sign the KY Resale Tax Form that we will keep on file.  

 

 Pick-up Instructions:

All pick-ups will take place at our warehouse location:  1411 Delaware Avenue.  All items must be picked up during our scheduled pick-up time - Thursday, January 30  from 2-6pm.  

Please bring your own totes or boxes to take your items home.  We are trying to reuse as many of our boxes as we can.  Thanks!

If you fail to pay for your items prior to pick-up or make alternate payment arrangements with us, your items will be resold and your name removed from our database.  If you pay, but fail to pick-up your items or pre-arrange an alternate pick-up time, you will be charged a minimum $10 cash late-fee ($20 for furniture) per lot.  ALL items must be picked up within 7 days of the scheduled auction pick-up day.  If your items are not picked up by then, they will be considered abandoned, you will forfeit your right to the items and no refund will be issued. The KEY is to communicate with us prior to pick-up day, if you are having any issues paying or picking up your items.  

If you experience an emergency or need to make alternate arrangements, please email us at AuctionLex@gmail.com.  Caring Transitions is under no obligation to meet any special requests. 

NOTE - PLEASE BRING ENOUGH HELP TO LIFT, CARRY AND LOAD YOUR ITEMS.  DUE TO INSURANCE LIABILITY, WE WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO HELP LOAD ITEMS.  

 

Shipping - YES:

Our shipping arrangements are simple, using a professional shipping company  without a bunch of added fees.  If shipping is desired, please email us at  AuctionLex@gmail.com prior to auction close.  We need to know that you will be using our shipping service if you win any lots.  Our shipper will pick-up, pack, ship and bill for your items.  The shipper will offer two quotes from the lowest cost carriers.  We have gotten feedback that our shipper does excellent work packing breakables.  Of course you do have to pay for bubble wrap and packing services.  You may discuss shipping preferences directly with the shipper.  There are no additional CT charges for this service, plus a 10% discount will be given on all shipping for this auction.  Send shipping questions to store5481@theupsstore.com or call them with specific questions at (859)543-0220. 

 

 Local Delivery - YES:

We have also arranged a convenient and cost-effective delivery service.  If you require delivery, please email us at AuctionLex@gmail.com prior to auction close.   Basic delivery fees are $60 per delivery within Fayette County, +$20 for each additional county line.  Extra fees for pianos, clocks, larger/heavy loads.  A delivery day will be arranged - most likely for Friday.  There are no additional CT charges for this service.  Cash payment will be due to the movers at time of delivery.

If heading into town on Winchester Road, pass Liberty Road. Delaware is the next stop light. Turn left. The warehouse is on the left just past Lagonda. If coming from Richmond Road onto New Circle, turn left on Liberty Road. Turn left on Lagonda and left on Delaware. Warehouse is on the left. Easy parking.
