Sale Headquarters will be at the Chamber of Commerce office located at the corner of Third and Locust. CASH OR CREDIT/DEBIT ONLY; FAIRBURY CHECKS ONLY; NO OUT OF TOWN CHECKS ACCEPTED FOR PAYMENT OR BIDDER NUMBERS.

Sponsoring the sale for the 68th year is the Fairbury Area Chamber of Commerce, First State Bank of Forrest, Illinois State Rifle Association,  Dave’s Supermarket, Sealtite Insulation and Coatings, Gerber Real Estate, Petersen’s Chevrolet, Leman Paint Works, JR Electric, JR Electric, Calvert and Martin Funeral Home, First State Bank of Forrest, The Business Connection, Compass Insurance Partners, Steidinger Brothers Plumbing and Heating, Country Financial Joe Jones, Bluestem Bank, Sealtite Insulation and Coatings; The Business Connection, the Financial Center of Illinois, Branch of Bank of Pontiac, and K & S Ford, Fairbury Cropsey Community Bank.  Proceeds will be used for special projects of the Chamber. Items may be donated for the event. Please notify the person who registers you at the seller check-in if you would like to donate the proceeds of your items.  Items may be donated for the event, please notify taggers when you check in with merchandise.

SALE DAY INFORMATION

Items will be accepted starting at 6:00 a.m. Items to be sold must be in place by 9:30 a.m. that day. Enter sale area at the intersection of First & Locust and proceed east.  All items for one seller will be tagged as one lot, but sold individually or in-groups as needed.

SALE TERMS

$2.00 Fee Per buyers number

$3.00 per item (or group of items) sold up to $29.00, 15% thereafter. All vehicles must have a clear title deposited at the Sale Headquarters prior to sale along with $15.00, which will be applied toward commission (No Refund). Owners should represent their merchandise. Seller is responsible for buy back at a fee of $1.00, must show buyers number. All major appliances will have a $15.00 deposit and car tires will have a $5.00 deposit due at the time of check-in, which will be refunded if the item is sold or reclaimed by the seller. All payouts for items sold will be made within 14 business days following sale including refunds for appliances and tire deposits. No firearms or hazardous materials will be sold. No LP tanks, tractor or truck tires will be accepted.

Auctioneers

Auctioneers from the area will conduct the Sale.

The Chamber and Auctioneers do not assume any responsibility for misrepresentation, accidents or missing items before or after purchase. Pick up your item at the time of purchase and pay promptly. Announcements the day of sale take precedence over printed material. Items not picked up 2 hours after the sale will be discarded!    The tree man will be here as always.
