Estate Sale in North Berkeley Hills May 3 - 5
We'll be offering a spectacular collection of furnishings, decorative wares, jewelry and fashion in the North Berkeley hills this weekend.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 10 - 5 all days
Highlights of the sale include: Asian, American and Continental furniture, together with a number of Mid Century pieces. Large assortment of sterling silver and silver plated wares, Greenbrier and Grand Baroque flatware. Great assembly of gold and silver jewelry, approximately 1,500 items. Asian decorative wares including Rose Canton serving pieces, cloisonné, gilt wooden wares, Hibachi, pottery and other ceramics, bronze garden ornament. Sewing notions in gold and silver , thimbles, bodkins, thimble and spool holders, knitting needles and full cased implement sets, 14kt. gold 12 piece cased manicure and personal care set. Novel collection of Modernist mosaic decorative items by Marin county vintage artist Margo Elberg. Three mandolins: an older Martin, a 1970's Gibson, and one by a quality contemporary maker. Vast offering in collectibles including black memorabilia, fountain pens including Montblanc "Jules Verne" fountain pen in unused condition, 19th c. regalia from the Red Cross, Native American silver jewelry, metal toy soldiers, Swarovski crystal miniatures and much more. Table wares include an assortment of early American glass candlesticks, cut glass pieces, a number of chinaware services including a nice contemporary Limoges service in white, Heath dinnerware and other quality pieces. Assortment of vintage chandeliers in metal and crystal. Fine Art includes several American and Continental oil paintings on canvas and prints on paper, two small works by Lily Harmon. Clothing and fashion accessories include designer goods and everyday items. Utilitarian wares include a packed kitchen and basement with tools, books, chest freezer, garden implements, outdoor furniture, plants and pots and tons more. Staff will be on site during the day for setup and in the evening for security. Monitored alarm system, locked cases for valuables during the sale, and alert veteran staff members. Valuables are removed in the evening. The neighborhood is somewhat hilly. There are several steps down to the entry of the house. The house is on three levels: the main floor includes the living room, dining room, and kitchen; the upper floor has three bedrooms; the lower floor has a family room, office, and workshop.
