All property is sold “AS IS” “WHERE IS”, without warranties or guarantees of any type and with all faults. It is the bidders’ responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Beacon Auction Group LLC may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the internet and or at the auction but makes no representations as to age, condition, etc. In no event shall Beacon Auction Group LLC be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. By registering and bidding you are legally bound by our terms and conditions and have agreed to our terms and conditions.
Bidders who bid from off site and are not present at the auction preview understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. Beacon Auction Group LLC shall endeavor to describe in detail each item and any pertinent information about it, but will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise. All measurements are approximate. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase.
Deadlines and close of Internet auction bidding: Items will begin to close five items per minute at the scheduled date and start time of the online auction, and will sell to the winning Internet bidder at that time. The items will close in the item order that is listed on the website. The online auction features an automatic extension system which grants a five minute extension to the end of the auction for any item receiving a bid during the last few minutes. The item will then close when five minutes have elapsed without any activity. Some auctions can extend several hours depending on the size of the auction and activity of the bidding of each item. Please be aware that many bidders routinely increase their own bids to price an item out of reach of other bidders. The system will ask you to review your bids after placing them to make sure you did not enter an amount in error. It is important that you please pay careful attention to prevent you from entering a bid in error. Also, please note that if you place a bid in the "Your Bid" box instead of the "Your Maximum" box the bid will immediately increase to the amount you entered (unless another bidder had a higher maximum bid). Finally, if you are already the high bidder and bid against yourself to increase your maximum bid, the bid amount will increase by one bid increment from the current bid amount (i.e. the next bid required listed by the current bid). If you make a mistake before 24 hours of the sale close you can email Beacon Auction Group to request to have your error corrected (These corrections are at the sole discretion of the auction company and we will use discretion over whether or not it was an obvious mistake). If the mistake is made within 24 hours of the auction closing the bid will stand as entered due to the fact that the bid you placed may prevent other bidders from placing competing bids. Beacon Auction Group staff makes every attempt to watch the sale closing to insure obvious mistakes (i.e. $500 entered instead of $5.00 and we attempt to make sure they are immediately corrected). However, we cannot be responsible for individuals increasing their own bids and therefore alienating other potential bidders. This is the risk you take when waiting until the last day to place your bids and doing so under pressure!
Payment Instructions:
Invoices will be sent to all winning bidders when the auction is completed within a reasonable time. Credit Cards, MasterCard, Visa are accepted at the discretion of the auction company. Cash and credit cards as described above are accepted for local pickup. There will be a 4% convenience fee for total invoice amounts over $250.00 per invoice or total of more than one invoice added to the credit card transaction. Checks with the Proper ID are accepted only at the discretion of the auction company. All applicable sales taxes will apply as required to be collected by the State of Ohio. If shipping has been requested a separate charge will be made after packing your items for shipping & handling. (See Shipping and Handling). Any bidders with credit cards that are declined on reconciliation day will be charged a $25 processing fee to run another credit card. No Charge backs will be allowed. Items not picked up in the designated time frame and or some type of acceptable alternate arrangements made will be considered abandoned and a $20.00 storage fee will be applied and charged to the credit card on file from registration.
Shipping\Pick Up of Items: Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Beacon Auction Group offers four services.
1. Special Jewelry= ($0) Zero Lot & Handling Charge and $2.65 shipping fee charge for as many jewelry lots that is won per auction. 2) Beacon Shipping – Identified in the Auction as Shipping Available- A Handling fee will be charged of $5.00 for the first lot and $2.50 for each additional lot thereafter. The Actual Shipping ( USPS Priority ) and Handling will be charged separately from original invoice when shipping is completed ( within 10 business days of auction end.)
3. Local Pick Up – No charges apply for local Pick Up (Items not picked up or acceptable alternate day pick up arrangements have been pre-approved will be considered abandoned and charges as noted in Terms and Conditions and Payment instructions will apply.)
4 . Professional Shipping: Items noted as needing Professional Shipping will be handled by Pack N Mail of West Chester. Please use the contact information listed to obtain an individual quote at any time during the auction. These transactions will be total separate entities from the Auction. Note: No exceptions will be made when items are noted to need Professional Shipping. You of course may make your own arrangements for shipping or pick up of your items. Local Pickup with Cash or Checks with appropriate ID and credit card is available in designated time frames on all items.
