WHAT A BEAUTY! ONE OF THE NICEST FJ40’S YOU WILL FIND! TRULY A MUST SEE! Has the original factory 6 cylinder engine. It has the original 3 speed transmission which has been rebuilt. The engine was rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago along with the carburetor. It also has new brake drums, pads, and brake cylinders plus new master cylinder. The front knuckles and every bearing in both axles and differentials have been replaced. The clutch was also replaced, along with the throw out bearing. The flywheel has been resurfaced. The frame and body were sand blasted. All bad spots on the body were cut out and new steel was welded in. Full replacement panels were used if currently available. The rear floor and mid floors are new steel. The frame and underbody were then coated with POR15. The whole car was taken apart, sanded, painted, and every bolt/nut was removed and replaced with new grade 8 ones. The complete wiring harness and fuse box have been replaced, it now uses modern fuses. The gauges are all new. There are 3 service manuals included with the car. All these replacement or rebuilds were done between 0-20,000 on the odometer. The car has passed the Missouri auto safety inspection every time needed since 2010. The FJ has a functioning factory Toyota PTO winch. A Toyota factory PTO winch is a rarity in the US. It also has an internal roll bar.
