You don't want to miss this Vineland sale and the great finds here! Among the very well cared for furnishings, we also have a Airplane Flight Simulator! This is a custom made simulator with the description below from the owner/creator of the simulator: __________________________________ This flight simulator is modeled after a Boeing 737NG. The software used is X-Plane, with microprocessors programmed to provide interface between hardware and the flight physics model, graphics, and instrumentation. This simulator is entirely custom, is to scale, and is a "work in progress". Completed items are the throttle quadrant, and the main instrument panel. Not available are a yoke, rudder, upper panel, or a NAV and Communication panel. These additions can be added by the hobbyist. Currently rudder and yoke functions are modeled with a joystick. Auto pilot capability is simulated using an app on an i-Pod which interfaces with the physics model on the main computer. The main computer runs X-Plane in a master mode, and a second computer provides graphics over three screens driven by LCD projectors. Two additional computers provide “glass cockpit instrumentation” matching the Next Generation B737. The simulator can provide a means to hone one’s piloting skills, engage in instrument flying, practice real world navigation, or simply provide hours of leisure flying. ____________________________________ Note…there will be someone at the sale on both days to demonstrate the simulator and answer any questions. We will also have the creator of the simulator available to the buyer at pick up so that they can more easily disassemble the simulator and set up at their home. Owner will give full instructions on set up. In addition to the Airplane Simulator will be a home full of very well cared for furnishings. The sale will include Barcalounger sofa, recliners, armchairs, accent pieces, dining room suite, formal living room furniture, lighting, bedroom furniture, sewing machines, decorations, artwork and outdoor items. Also-antique stepback sideboard, set of beautiful Morris chairs, glass china/display cabinet, small hall table, dressing table with mirror and a beautiful collection of Roseville pottery.
