This is an impound / tow lot sale.
All plates have been removed from vehicles.
A safety check needs to be done on all vehicles by a mechanic or Police Officer. A mechanic will be on hand on release day to perform a safety check. There is a $20.00 charge per vehicle to have the safety check done by the mechanic. The sale paperwork along with the safety check can be taken to the DMV office which is 2.5 miles from auction location. There they will issue a new Minnesota title and provide you with new license plates and tabs. It is highly recommended that you transfer the title paperwork at the DMV office on the pickup date to help eliminate any confusion.
