We have added a Wednesday night event for a $5.00 donation to charity, you can get in to shop from 6 pm till 8 pm.
Finally a sale full of treasures from the past, pharmacy and medical items you dont see anymore. The Irelands bought this house in the mid 1950's, they have filled there home with treasures from the past. Pharmacy glass and equipment, samples, displays, lab glass for making meds,and more. They also amassed a huge medical library, full of rare antique books. These books go back as far back as the 1640's, and include lots of first editions. Dr. Ireland was a pharmacist and head of Loyla University's Pharmacy deparment. He also helped found the Pharmacy Museaum on charter street. Mrs. Ireland was a pharmacist and teacher she retired in 2000 at 80 years old. She leaves us her a huge collection of wonderful vintage clothing, jewelry, perfume bottles and seven decades of saved items from her tenure in this massive house. Please wear clothes that are comfortable, you might want gloves, we have lots of dust, rust, and old stuff.
