5 Mile Online Auction Barn
231-928-1288 Buyer and Seller Information/Rules To become a seller, you must register with the auction barn when you drop off your items and have listing sheet filled out with your current contact information. Listing fees for sellers: $2.00 per lot - you can list multiple items in one lot (everything in the picture is considered a lot) Seller premiums: 15% of the selling price, 8% if the item sells for over $1000 25% premium for items picked up by the Auction Barn Seller Payout is two weeks after auction closing and checks can be picked up at the Auction Barn. All items must be in working condition to be listed in our auction or item must be clearly described at “Parts Only” or “As is”. We do not accept particle board furniture, solid wood only. NO TV’s accepted Please note: Drop offs taken in by Friday will be live on the auction that begins the following Wednesday. Saturday drop offs will be listed and live a week from Wednesday (11 days until live). The auction barn is not responsible for theft or fire. Buy backs: The seller is allowed to place 1 bid on his/her own item. There are no premium fees to buy back your item but the $2.00 listing fee will still be charged. Buyback items must be removed within 7 business days of auction closing. If left, it can be considered abandoned and become the property of the auction barn and sold and proceeds retained by the auction barn or disposed of. To become a buyer, you can register online at www.5mileauctionbarn.hibid.com and go to Login/New Bidder and get registered. Won items must be paid for and picked up within 7 business days of auction closing. If special arrangements are needed, please contact our office at 231-928-1288. After 14 days, items will be considered abandoned and become the property of the auction barn. Please inspect all items purchased as all sales are final. Outlets are available for testing electronics. Buyer premiums are as follows, *5% if picked up within 7 days *13% if picked up past 7 days. A 3% processing fee will be added if paid with credit card. *Shipping available for small items under 25lbs that will fit in a Priority Shipping Box. A $10 Processing and $16 Shipping fee will be added. Sales tax: 6% Michigan sales tax applies to all purchases |
