Native American Sterling and Turquoise ring unmarked

Khene instrument- condition as shown.
The KHENE (also spelled khaen) is the oldest Lao instrument, believed to have been used during the Lan Xang era (1357 - 1707). The khene is a mouth organ with pipes made of bamboo. It is played through blowing through a hole. Multiple tones can be made simultaneously. The khene can be made in a particular key however after it's put together, it cannot be tuned. The khene can be played solo, in a classical orchestra or as an accompaniment to Lao folk songs. See video of this type of instrument being played in "Lompat phai by master Daeng toy" 40

Burmese Painted wooden and lacquered table From
Burma /Myanmar In Burma the art of Lacquer, known as "Pan-Yun" in Burmese, is considered one of the highest forms of art. It requires great skill on the part of the artist. Black lacquer is the most commonly used, but an orange lacquer (normally called "Red lacquer"), such as our table here , is also used. Both come from the sap of a tropical hardwood tree. The artist begins with a bamboo or, rarely, teak base. He then coats with with a layer of lacquer mixed with ashes and leaves it in a cellar to dry. He repeats this until there are 5 layers, then he adds two more layers of pure lacquer. When it comes time to add color, the artist scratches out lines for one color with a very fine knife, then mixes one colorant with water and spreads the paste over the item. After letting it set for several days, he wipes off the colorant (which remains in the lines), puts a resin over the colored lines, and starts over with the next color. This continues until all the colors are added. He then polishes the piece with fine talcum powder to remove the resin and make the item shine. 65
