The Old Red Barn has scheduled an end-of-the-year Estate Auction on December 7, 2019 @ 1 pm. Doors open 11 am for preview. Buyers can expect a traditional Country Auction featuring a 'Lake House' estate from Forestburgh NY. The auction includes complete house contents - furniture, art, decorative items, collectibles, rugs, glass & china, etc. The following are items we consider most valuable or of greatest interest. Mission oak rocking chair by Haywood Bros & Wakefield Co, wicker patio furniture, table & floor lamps, Lenox hanging fixture, antique brass & copper decorated banquet lamp with telescoping center post, brass coal storage box with high-relief scenes, ornate fire screen with Oriental-floral applied designs, a summer fire screen with painted scene, several smaller rugs, newer standing jewelry chest, tilt-top serving table, collection of Fredrick Remington prints, great carved bear bench with 'Momma & Poppa' bears, decoys, a kayak by Dagger,Keuffel & Esser Transit in box, machinist multi-drawer case, Gilbert shelf clock is all original with unusual portrait pendulum, full-size porcelain table base is kiln made with applied designs and faces (no glass top), oil painting floral still life attributed to Arnold Bode, signed & dedicated print by Moses Soyer, great water color painting of elephants brought home from Hawaii, pastel of a dog & cat, 13" tall carved rosewood Koala bear sculpture, several antique books: 2 Vol set West Point Atlas, American Wars, 1st ed 1959; Leslies Scenes & Photos of the Civil War; Leslie's Spanish American War, American Design by Hornung 1950; Several newspapers dated 1830s from Goshen NY 'Independent Republican', other texts, auction includes autographed celebrity photographs sold in lots, a Kerger signed portrait print of John Lennon & Ono, several Colliers Artist Proof prints in frames by Charles Dana Gibson, 3 Religious pastel drawings from the 1940s, collection of antique figural napkin-ring holders featuring 'chicks', 4 Waterford Christmas bells in boxes, MORE SOON.
