We are honored to announce the contract to liquidate the American Brilliant Cut Glass Collection of the Late Jimmy Beard. This sale January 3-4 is for serious dealers.. A public sale for his entire house will be the middle of January. Jimmy Spent the last 40 or 50 years collecting the finest American Cut Glass. He spent most any weekend attending Estate Auctions or estate sales all over the State of Mississippi. His collection includes items from many prominent families. The Collection includes examples from all cut glass makers and many, many of the pieces are signed. The collection is about 300 pieces of glass Plus a large book library which will be for sale. Jimmy Beard also bought glass for resale so there are tags from his booths at various antique Malls. A list of the pieces and what display case they are housed in will be loaded to this page up until time of the sale. Each glass photo has the catalog information that Mr. Jimmy researched. In some Cases we just have the makers name.. The pricing structure for the sale will be announced Later. WATCH FOR PICTURES, sunday 12/1/2019 for first section of glass. |
