We do not lift or load. You are responsible for removing your purchases the day of the sale. If you buy heavy items, bring your own muscle. Sales tax of 7.75% charged on all purchases (Orange County) unless you provide a copy of your valid California resale certificate and fill out our form. All numbers verified on site with the BOE. No excessive haggling or arguing with staff. We endeavor to maintain a pleasant shopping environment for everyone. Please do not email or call asking for prices. Mid Century Modern Estate in Old Corona del Mar One of the last remaining original homes 1/2 block from the Ocean in Corona del Mar village....True vintage mid century Danish modern furniture, famous designers like Hans Jørgensen Wegner and more, studio quality Mid Century porcelain and pottery, ceramics, paintings as well as Native American art, vintage toys, books, ephemera, costume jewelry, lamps, and lighting, vintage and mid century linens, a few finer pieces jewelry (will be brought in only on the day of the sale and not on premises until then,) local Laguna Beach artist paintings, objects, some clothing including some vintage, other vintage items. We are finished preparing and ready! Here are some details of the highlights of our sale in Corona del Mar Village: The sale is very Mid Century and as such, we are offering a variety of furniture pieces for sale including a beautiful dining table (draw leaf) and six chairs by Hans Wegner, a set of Hans Wegner nesting tables, a pair of Hans Wegner barstools as well as other mid century furniture. You will enjoy the rare lounge chair and ottoman by Kipp Stewart, the beautiful credenza by Hans C Andersen, a mid century wall unit and bookcase, mid century sofas (need reupholstery but fantastic shapes,) an incredible headboard with connected nightstands and matching dresser...so 60's! We have Mid Century Modern decorative accessories as well...a "Double Wok" ceramic vessel by Architectural Pottery, many other mid century ceramics including Gustavsberg. There is cloisonné, Baccarat cats, Waterford, Daum, costume jewelry (a few better pieces which will be brought in the day of the sale only.) You will love the design of the flatware by Cromargen (Germany) and the chic Dansk TV trays! A nice selection of books including cook books and design books. Multiple sets of dishes, including Thomas and Co., some Arabia pieces, and others, vintage linens, clothing (including St. John Knits, furs and more,) shoes and throws...a Navajo Yee, as well as Mid Century throws and weavings. Lots of vintage ephemera of all kinds! A very nice selection of art, paintings both oil and watercolors, and posters...Leroy Neiman, Jack Dudley, Bill Bender, John Marsh, Jeffrey Lunge, Benjamin Chee Chee, Carlos Lopez Ruiz, Sergio Gonzales, Lawrence Outah, a 50's Danish circus poster by Erik Stockmarr, Japanese woodblocks by Kaoru Kawano, other watercolors, engravings, and decoupage works of art. Many interesting vintage record albums, a piano by Louis Zwicki, a snowglobe collection (Patterson Cats,) Orrefors pendant lamps, baskets, hampers, desks and office accessories. There is also a full garage (accessed though alley off Seaview.) And if this were not enough, the kitchen is packed with vintage glass, ceramics, canisters, serving items. Our sale promises to be loads of fun for the collector or dealer or someone who just enjoys mid century vintage.
