Originally, an antiques and interior design business, the inspiration to transform into an Auction House came while Beau Kavanagh was one of the stars of Historia's (Canadian French History Channel) reality-TV show La Fièvre des Encans (Auction Fever). During the show, he saw an opportunity to build an engaging auction house offering an eclectic mix of retro, vintage and antique finds for a variety tastes and budgets. Kavanagh Auctions remains owned and managed by Beau Kavanagh and Angus Tasker. What makes Kavanagh Auctions different is it's mission to recycle, up-cycle and preserve history one item at a time. The auction house is located on De Maisonneuve Boulevard in the heart of Montreal's west end (NDG) with easy access from the downtown area.
