1.    No Preview will be offered.

2.    Extended Pick-up times - all winning bidders will sign-up for a specific time – only 10 per hour. Your items will be grouped together.

3.    Affordable home delivery option.

4.    Will modify as needed to adhere to government guidelines.

5.    If our worst-case scenario occurs and we have to close the auction or delay pick-ups, don’t worry. We will extend the end time on the auction and/or delay pick-ups.

In addition, we are offering high quality items at reasonable prices. AND if you are like us, you may need a diversion from the news. We are focused more on what makes CTBIDS powered by Caring Transitions so unique - helping families every day downsize, relocate, sell the items they no longer need (which become treasures for you), and clear their homes. With over 140 Lots, hope you enjoy the wide variety of items in this auction. Auction ‘F’ will start closing on Tuesday, March 24th at 7:00pm. Winning bidders will be invoiced electronically that evening, make payment from invoice, then plan to pick-up their items at the warehouse (1411 Delaware Avenue) on Thursday, March 26th or Saturday, March 28th  by appointment only (see below). If you think you won items in this auction and do not see an invoice email from us on Tuesday night, please go check your Junk email folder or sign onto the auction site, go to My Account, then Invoices to see your new invoice. Note – we do not hold credit card information, so you must take action to pay your invoice.

 

Now – here are all our NEW COVID-19 compliant details:

 

 

  1. No Preview – we are cancelling our Preview Events, so that we will not risk having too many people at the warehouse at the same time. We hope that our descriptions and pictures are good enough to ensure confidence in bidding.
  2. Extended Pick-up Times – on your electronic invoice there will be a link to select an open appointment time for pick-ups. Just select your time and show up on time. There will be 5 slots for each 30-minute time slot. So, you will need to load and leave within that time period. If you feel that you need more time, select 2 slots. You will not be allowed to enter the warehouse at any other times. Your 1st stop will be to check-in at the desk. We will have your items grouped together to help speed up your loading time. Our staff will not be allowed to help carry or load any items.
  3. Affordable front door delivery option – just during this crisis, we have come up with a solution to get your items to you in the lowest-cost way possible. Follow these steps to use this option:

a)    Pay your invoice. Easiest - pay online through PayPal from your electronic invoice. Or you may call or text Lea your credit card info for Square processing, 859-608-1239 (number, expiration, code, billing zip code). Or if you want to pay with cash or check, print invoice and include payment in sealed envelope, drop in front door mail slot at warehouse by end of day Thursday, March 24th.

b)    Send email to LNugent@CaringTransitions.net. Let us know you want home delivery, give us your name as used in our auctions, confirm address, any instructions, and cell phone. We will calculate your fee and text your amount due. We will start our delivery rounds on Saturday at 1:00pm. We will text you as we are on our way to your house and once delivery is completed.

c)     Fee. Base fee of $15 per location or $5/lot, whichever is higher + $2/mile from warehouse to your location. Add additional $5/lot for small furniture or $20/lot for larger lots needing 2 people to move. Mileage will be calculated using Google Maps from 1411 Delaware Avenue to your destination. Example Fee: 1 lot to deliver, #100-Tole Painted Chest = $15 + $5 (furniture) + mileage fee. If this buyer bought 3 lots – 2 with smaller items, and 1 with this trunk, the fee amount would be the same $15+$5+mileage.

d)    Delivery Payment. Cash or check (made out to Caring Transitions) payment should be placed in sealed envelope with your name and enclosed amount and placed under your door mat. All items will be placed as close to your front door as possible. We would prefer no interaction (like Amazon Prime). If raining, we will deliver on next clear day. Sorry, furniture will only be placed on ground level (will not haul to a 2nd floor apartment). Make sure your environment is safe. We will not be responsible for theft. No delivery payment = no delivered items and your items will be forfeited with no refund. If you would prefer to pay with credit card +$1 processing fee, you can add your cc info to your initial email sent to us.

e)     New Guidelines. If new guidelines are put in place by the government, we will comply and change our procedures. If we cannot deliver, we will hold until quarantine is lifted, no problem. We will communicate any changes via email. (Make sure you are checking your Junk Mail.)
