AUCTION NOTICE: For those interested in purchasing items and don’t feel comfortable attending in person, you may inspect items and leave bids with the auction staff the week prior to the auction. We will bid on your behalf (up to your max. bid). If you are the successful buyer, we will contact you for payment & pick up. If interested, contact us to make an appointment. Please adhere to all posted notices/guidance regarding social distancing and other recommendations. If you are interested in buying items from the auction you are welcome to attend. (Please no spectators.)

COVID-19 NOTICE
As a condition to being given access to this auction conducted by Farrell Auction Service, LLC (“Auctioneer”) at this location (26689 Laurel Grove Road, Mechanicsville, Maryland) on June 13, 2020, YOU agree, on behalf of YOURSELF and any MINOR CHILDREN accompanying YOU, as follows:
1. In any social or business interaction, there are risks associated with the newly emerged COVID-19 virus. 2. Based on what is currently known, COVID-19 is thought to spread mostly from person-to-person through respiratory droplets during close contact. 3. Close contact can occur from being within approximately 6 feet of someone with COVID-19 for a period of time, or by having direct contact with infectious secretions from someone with COVID-19. 4. Carriers of COVID-19 may not show symptoms but may still be highly contagious. 5. Even following the recommendations and guidelines for social distancing and for infection control established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (the “CDC”) and by the State of Maryland, there is still a risk for possible infection during any social or business interaction. 6. The symptoms of COVID-19 may include some or all of the following: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and/or new loss of taste or smell.

DO NOT ACCESS THE AUCTION SITE IF:
● YOU or someone living with YOU has displayed, or currently has, any of the symptoms that are representative of COVID-19.
● In the past 14 days, YOU have been in close contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or who appeared to display any of the symptoms of COVID-19.
YOU MAY ONLY ACCESS THE AUCTION SITE IF:
● YOU understand the hazards of COVID-19 and YOU are familiar with the CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19.
● YOU ASSUME ANY AND ALL RISKS deriving from, or in any way associated with, or related to, COVID-19 that may arise from YOU being at the Auction Site or participating in the Auction.
● YOU AGREE TO RELEASE, WAIVE, AND DISCHARGE Auctioneer from any and all liability related to exposure to COVID-19 that might occur as a result YOU being at the Auction Site.
● YOU AGREE NOT TO SUE Auctioneer because of any exposure to COVID-19 on, at, or about the Auction Site. ● YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND DEFEND Auctioneer, and to HOLD Auctioneer HARMLESS, from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, judgments, losses or expenses of any nature whatsoever (including, without being limited to, attorneys’ fees, costs, disbursements, and damages), arising from or out of, or relating to, directly or indirectly, the infection of COVID-19 or any other illness or injury.
