UPDATE FRIDAY JUNE 26TH: WE ARE SETTING UP THE SALE FOR INDOORS DUE TO THE QUESTIONABLE WEATHER. WE CAN, HOWEVER, SELL INSIDE; OUTSIDE; OR BOTH DEPENDING ON HOW THINGS DEVELOP. MAY BE A GOOD IDEA TO BRING AN UMBRELLA TO GO BETWEEN THE SALE BUILDING AND YOUR VEHICLE. PARK ANYWHERE ON THE GROUNDS.

From the intersection of Route 2 and the Ohio River bridge in St. Marys, continue South on Route 2 for 3/4 miles. Sale is on the left. From Parkersburg, take Emerson Ave. North to Route 2. Continue North on 2 for approximately 25 minutes. Sale is on the Right of Route 2 halfway up the last hill before St. Marys city limits. Watch for sign. 

We encourage the use of hand sanitizer and masks of your choice. As for "social distancing", if the weather is nice, we have cleared our loading dock for an auction platform to display and sell many items from there. You may use your chairs (or ours), may "tailgate", or picnic over a 2 acre area while watching for whatever you want to buy. If the weather is not nice, we will compact sale items to leave as much "people" space as possible while opening the overhead and 2 pedestrian doors to maximize froodom of movement in and around the building.

We have always accepted internet bids, and will have 4 I-phones in service with a call log for you to submit your phone number (within the week prior to the sale) to be called several minutes prior to items you want to buy coming up for sale. Those bidding by phone or internet must give their registration information the same as you would if you were attending the sale. If you are the successful bidder, your "name only" will be announced.

We are pleased to have been commissioned to sell household furnishings and personal property from the estate of the late Opal Martin, well known resident of Shultz (Pleasants County) WV. Sale will also contain two "downsizing" consignments of nice quality items from local St. Marys residents, plus five large palate lots from storage.

GENERAL SALE DESCRIPTION:

Selling Antique, Vintage, and Contemporary furniture, collectible art glass, utility glassware, nice small appliances, cookware, kitchen utensils, crockery, stoneware, fine china (sets and individual), Silverplate table items (flatware, trays, coffee pot, shakers & More), Antique & Vintage clocks, Jewelry (costume & other), large "First Day Cover" stamp collection, PRIDE Mobility scooter (like new), hand and small power tools including never used complete pneumatic too set with case, plus two-tier Mechanics Tool Chest on wheels, Antique and collecetible advertising items, including NASCAR, numerous designer handbags (most never carried & with orig. store tags), lawn & garden tools, art quality and decorative pictures (5 Thomas Kinkade), some old baseball cards (circa 1960's) plus much more (too much to list)

We are in the process of loading 270 pictures in the photo gallery and will be adding more up until 1 week from sale date. A few general comments may be hgelpful. The "Merlin Inhacced Vision" sysrtem is an incredible pice of equipment for anyone with major visual problems. It is not just a magnifier. Any document, book, magazine, paper etc. can be adjusted for size, color reception, background, script type and other factors that affect visual reception. These are used in medical therapeutic and research settings, as well as some personal (at home) applications. Manafactures retail prices range between $2200.00 and $2900.00 with pre-owned offerings between $400.00 and $800.00. This one is in excellent condition and will sell to the highest bidder. If you have a loved one or friend with serious visual issues, this can add to their quality of life.

The folding high chair/stroller is a rare find estimated circa mid to late 1800s. I have never sold one before. The size 12 lady's jeans, and all the designer handbags are from one individual's personal storage. Jeans never worn with store tags still in tact; and handbags 90% of which have never been carried even once and still have tags. Not knock-offs. Retail prices averaged between $150.00 to $485.00.

The stamp collecetion has slowly but surely increased in value over the years and could be expected to continue. Beautiful "Art" and interesting information. Buy it for an elementary or Middle School student. He may find it interesting enough to get off the I-phone now and then and sell it later at a profit. 

We will have many nice collectible and usable items of value in this sale that won't be pictured and most sold in lots. Check-out the pictures carefully as we may have to "stack" more items than usual to make room for social distancing.

We are in the process of getting set-up to accept credit cards and this may be available by sale date.

Announcements day of sale take precedence over previous information printed or otherwise conveyed. Order of sale and "Lots" at the discretion of the Auctioneer. If you cannot haul some of your purchases due to weather or cargo space, items may be left in sale building at your own risk for later pick-up by appointment.
