Listing Information

This is the final liquidation of the estate of Dr. Milburn Calhoun, who owned Pelican Publishing Company. Many of you came to the mega-sale held last year in his beautiful English Turn home.   That home has been sold and the remains (including some items that were NOT in the last sale) have been moved to another family home on the Westbank.

If you are a booklover, you will not want to miss this sale!

We must adhere to Orleans Parish COVID19 rules, which means a mask is REQUIRED for entry (sorry - no exceptions), no more than 20 people allowed to enter the house at any one time, and social distancing in effect.  ABSOLUTELY NO CHILDREN.

Some highlights:

Room full of scarce books and paper related to New Orleans and the South - all discounted 40% on Friday.  Maps and sheet music, too.

Rooms full of hardback and trade paperback books on New Orleans, the South, the Civil War, and many other topics (kid's books, too) - these are in LIKE NEW condition - Hardbacks only 4.00 each (many are 20.00+ books)

Kitchen full of COOKBOOKS and kitchen stuff

Miscellaneous items including clothing, bric a brac, framed stuff - small furniture - lots to look through.

Garage with "garage stuff"

We are blowing this all out, so bring a box - or several - because you are going to need them.
