This cozy house is where the kids grew up and the parents grew old, and the accumulations of decades have been preserved. This is a corner house. You will be entering from the Ray Street side of the house, through the rear gate. Be aware that we will be continuing with COVID-19 safety measures: limited occupancy, no one admitted without a mask, and hand sanitizer at the front desk. NOTE: New safety measure we are trying: we will be taking temperatures at the door with an instant, contact-free forehead thermometer. No one will touch you; you only need to stand still for one second while we check for a fever over 100. No one with a fever will be admitted.Please be patient and polite, and practice basic social distancing etiquette. For Saturday, the second day of the sale, we will be negotiating discounts at our discretion. Dining room: - Table with three leaves, eight chairs - Huge breakfront - Lots of glassware - Clothing (we haven't gone through it yet) - Costume jewelry Kitchen: - Set of three bar chairs - Assorted cookware - Small decorative items - Small countertop TV on swivel base Living room: - Two electric recliners with remote controls, matching sofa, beautiful curio cabinet, unusual end tables, TV and TV stand, and many small decorative items from Capodimonte to Rockwell. Master bedroom: - Late mid-mod bedroom set featuring triple dresser with mirror, chest, nightstands and queen headboard. Very unusual set, striking in its styling. Second bedroom: - Daybed - Glider - Desk - Bookshelves - Handbag collection, which includes Coach and other good labels Bedroom #3: - Full/queen bed - Desk and chest set - TONS of small items new in boxes, ranging from entertaining pieces to holiday decorations - Vintage toys including GI Joe and Big Jim Office: - Three desks - Mid-mod cedar-lined chest - Many vintage cameras - Assorted small items yet to be catalogued -- this room is PACKED! Patio: - Patio heater - Outdoor fridge - Benches - Concrete planters and statuary - Statuary in lighter materials - Vintage holiday decorations including blowmolds Basement: - Room 1: Treadmill, huge electrified and fully furnished dollhouse, tailor's sewing machine - Room 2: Kitchenette, kitchen items, record collection, shoemaker's sewing machine - Room 3: Lionel and American Flyer trains, vintage games - Room 4: Tools hardware, workshop furniture, antique armoire We've barely scratched the surface in this packed-to-the-rafters house!
