This auction contains many examples of fine Chinese and other Asian art pieces as well as traditional paintings, and unique furniture. Accordingly many items have reserves to protect our client’s interest while giving you the ability to acquire these unique items at a reasonable price. In each case where a reserve is used, that cost is stated in the item description. Our client will consider final bids that do not reach the reserve after the close of the auction, so bid freely as you may have the opportunity to buy even if the reserve is not met.
