DIRECTIONS: from the stoplight at the intersection of Route 2 and Washington St. (by the Pleasants County Bank) turn onto Washington toward the Ohio River. Go 2 blocks to dead end on Riverside Dr. Turn right; sale is on the left. Watch for signs.

AUCTIONEER'S NOTE: FRIDAY NOV. 20th With apologies for any inconvenience to our customers, we need to withdraw the arrowhead collection from the sale due to question of ownership which has been resolved.

 

We are pleased to have been commissioned to sell the household furnishings and personal property of the late Betty Wells Barron lifetime resident of Tyler and Pleasants Counties. In addition to having been "Director of human Resourses" at Colin Anderson Center, Betty was a recognized authority on local history, an astute collector of antiquity, plus a seamstress and craftsman. We are selling the contents of this 7 bedroom Colonial style home outdoors from the incredible wrap around porch in deference to the existing virus conditions in order to maximize social distancing and fresh air. We may have sunshine or rain; chilly or mild weather. Dress accordingly. We will have a large commercial tent and Larry will have his Hot Dog wagon with hot and cold drinks along with the best chili dogs you can find anywhere.

We are still in the process of listing, organizing, and describing sale items. There is a large variety of antique furniture in Oak, Walnut and  Mahogany plus plus marble top tables & a wash stand with splash-back, double door Pie Safe, art glass china & pottery including Fenton, Fostoria, Cambridge, Blenko. Si Wright, Paden City glass, Paden City pottery, German Austrian & more, "Gone with the Wind" lamps, Catherine Barron paintings, local historical collectibles, power & hand tools, large assortment of canning jars, quality needlepoint, very rare tall turn of century German made doll plus other dolls (2 1960's Barbies) 2 compound hunting bows, practice arrows, some fishinmg rods, almost 50 assorted Duck decoys (not antique), a Polaris 4-Wheeler (been in storage-may or may not run), Very large taxidermy Bobcat, large assortment of kitchen items including cookware, small appliances, and many more categories too numerous to list.
