1. PAYMENTS: Accepted forms of payment include Visa, Mastercard ONLY. On SATURDAY morning, after the auction has closed, your credit card on file will be automatically charged for the entire amount of your purchases. You will receive an emailed Invoice.
2. BIDDING ERRORS: Be aware that many bidders increase their own bid in error. If that happens immediately contact Shumate for action. 540-229-7063.
3. STAGGERING CLOSE: This online auction will close multiple items per minute. If an item has active bidding when it comes up to close, that item will be skipped until there is no bidding for 3 minutes, then it will close.. 5. PICK-UP: Saturday, Jan 16, 2021 from 9 am to Noon EST. at Warrenton MINI Storage units, Warrenton, VA 20186 . NO loading assistance or boxes/paper will be provided. Items will be shipped to buyer thru Postal or UPS . SALES TAX: Virginia State Sales tax will be collected. If you are tax exempt, you must email (shumateauction@aol.com) or text (540-229-7063 your ST-10 # PRIOR to auction closing). You can obtain a VA form online at www.tax.virginia.gov. State Tax will be applied if your signed tax exempt form is not on file. We cannot accept a verbal number.
7. BUYER'S PREMIUM: A 15% Buyer's Premium will be added to each purchase. For example, if you bid $100, at checkout you will be chared $115 plus VA State Tax of .053%.
8. PAID RECEIPT: You will receive an emailed receipt for your purchases by 9AM on pickup day. If you do not receive a receipt contact Shumate Auctions, 540-229-7063 .
9. SHIPPING COSTS: Shipping costs will be told to the buyer before shipping. Payment will be processed on the CC used to register.
10. FAILURE TO PICK UP: Those items not picked up within 5 days of the auction closing date, will be forfeited and become property of Shumate Auctions unless notified of the delay.
