The Caring Transitions team is pleased to host a two day Eads Tennessee treasure hurt. The house, attic, garage and airplane hangar are full of wonderful treasures. We are still unpacking and finding more and more interesting things. The owner was a WWII & Korean veteran. In the service he was an aircraft mechanic working on B-29 aircraft. After the war he was a mechanic for Southern, Republic and Northwest Airlines. In his free time he was an avid private pilot with his own runway and hanger on his property. The estate has 50 to 60 of vintage aircraft books, tech manuals and airline memorabilia, vintage Piper Cub parts, a wooden 8 foot airplane propeller and many instruments. The house has three-bedroom sets, living room couch, love seat, coffee tables, end tables, lamps, a cherry claw foot dining room set, an antiques buffet, Noritake Rosetta with platinum trim china set, hundred of pieces of Pfaltzgraff village stoneware, Coca Cola collectable (thermometers, trays, a bell, and much more). The sunroom is full of antique cast iron, vintage wall hangings, depression glass, primitives, crocks and carved water buffalo horns, Texas long horns, and hundreds of smalls. The garage is full of tools and hardware including Snap-on Tools, Craftsman, air compressor with tools, a plainer, drill press, and lots of cherry wood planks - we are still sorting and finding great items. The hanger has Piper Cub parts, an aircraft frame and many miscellaneous parts. On noon on Saturday , March 6th, we are holding a pickers sale, all remaining items with be placed in lots and sold at deep discounts. Ample parking is available, see you there. |
