Shop the styles of West Elm, Design within Reach, Anthropologie, Pottery Barn, and Restoration Hardware and a great deal more in one estate sale, in the heart of Solvang, at excellent price points – with fresh inventory arriving daily. This week, in addition to unpacking dozens of existing boxes, we are incorporating the contents of a fine Santa Ynez estate rich in both the decorative and the useful.

Garden and Patio Appointments (that easily transition indoors) - Containers and planters and vessels of all shapes and materials in opal glass, pottery, brass, porcelain, galvanized tin, and dozens of striking wood vessels/planters/pots in Adirondack style twig, branch, and log shapes. A wondrous selection of style-forward faux botanicals – flowers, greenery, cotton bolls, box hedges in silk, paper, bark, and yes, velvet and every container imaginable for displaying them. Topiary décor – dozens and dozens of choices - for interiors and exteriors – that can cost hundreds just to rent, so in demand are they. Trencher boards, lanterns, obelisks, pocket vases, 4 unusually lovely stained glass pieces from arts and crafts to floral, tall wrought iron candle stands, 9 regal tall brass candle stands with topiary atop, the most charming oval pair of wire, galleried top tables for the garden, a bistro set, fascinating inlaid woodcrafts and architectural remnants with great design potential, 8 piece set of campaign style canvas and leather patio furniture – bursting with character - 4 chairs and 2 settees. A vintage set of curved metal rod rocker armchairs, loungers, and ottomans. An attention-getting white china figural collection: dozens of life-sized crested parrots, plus substantial square, pierced candle lanterns (oh, the table one could set!). Pottery vessels for decorating, entertaining, collecting - from bespoke to trendy contemporary - things that create more imagination than you knew you had!

Table Décor – Several sets of china just unpacked including Copeland Spode, Limoges, Lenox, and Rosenthal! Linens – Oh, the textiles and linens! – delicious Italian and French fabrics for bed and table top, silk curtains, lush sofa textiles, antique South and Central American handwoven pieces (enjoying their style renaissance!), charming vintage cotton prints, plus bolts and remnants of lux home fabrics. Fine decorative pillows – new and antique – in velvet, metallics, faux fur, tapestry, Sunbrella, rich linens, and vintage cotton florals.

Lighting – Chandeliers from French antiques, crystal, Spanish Colonial Revival, to a collection of outdoor rusted wire candle chandeliers, a grand wooden bead, as well as a jute macramé chandelier, plus a contemporary mirrored choice that could be your favorite room’s new focal point. Table lamps, buffet lamps, floor lamps, boudoir lamps, marvelous vessels turned into lamps. Several cranberry glass table lamps in all shapes and sizes - from antique to contemporary - will be added to the sale this week!

Design Accents - Mirrors from rococo revival to farmhouse, chic, classic, or modern, ornate gilded pier mirrors to round textural wood mirrors. Over 20 fine rugs and runners – too many to display at once – Kilim, Persian, flatweave, tribal, colorful and subtle, for the modern or traditional room. Watch for new ones to appear as the sale progresses. Original paintings including midcentury Parisian street scenes, still lifes, and some stunning contemporary standouts. Surprises, such as a grand example of an ornate antique coal burning heater-stove – a beauty in a large bath, a cabin, wherever a “warm and cozy” visual belongs, and a pony-sized English glider rocking horse with leather English saddle and horsehair mane and tail. A grand mirror in large gilt carved frame, and a gilt framed pair of shadow boxes with shelves. Display furnishings such as a 6-foot wood easel, lighted wood and glass cabinetry, antique oak and glass retail case, hanging vitrines, corner display cabinets, and pretty Hollywood-style gilt open ironwork display stand. Stella Swiss disc windup music boxes in oak cases with discs, a Regina orchestral auto-changer disc music cabinet with 12 discs, and a monumental Swiss music box with beautiful matching table. 1925 Columbia “Graphaphone” 78 rpm disc player in oak case with beautiful oak “horn”. A monumental carved sideboard/breakfront with stained glass, galleries, and arched top, over 9 feet tall. A grand carved dining table / conference table / winery banquet room table on 6 carved columns with 14 (!) chairs in dark olive velvet – if you have the space, we have the statement piece.
