This Auction will Celebrate George Arthur Merkel, my Grandfather's Brother, now 91 Year of Age and his 50+ Years of Vegetable Farming and Collecting items related to farming. The collection includes numerous tractors (About 50) with a few Highlights being (2)1936 Restored Silver Kings and 1941 Restored The General Model GG among others. There are numerous parts for the restoration of tractors including fenders, grills, radiators, starters, wheels that have been properly stored inside barns and trailers. Many Good items still being found. Watch this website as we will surely add many more photos prior to auction day. Photos posted are not inclusive of the many items still being found on the farm. More photographs to come... We will have a list of the Tractors & Implements in the Lot# Order they will sell, on auction day. The list will be attached here, to this listing as a PDF for potential collectors to print out and bring with them to the auction. Parking will be in the field ** 4x4 Truck and Trailers ONLY **. Non 4 Wheel Drive Vehicles will not be allowed into the field as they are likely to get stuck!!! Porta-John will be on-site and food service has not yet been secured for this event but we are working on it. Looking forward to seeing may long time farm auction faces at this wonderful celebration of farming and people who love old tractors.
** If you are a scrap dealer or know people who are in the business, be sure to let them know this is one auction not to miss. Numerous Tons of Heavy Steel and Quality Metals on this farm to be sold in several Large Piles/Lots. This is not for the beginner, Serious Scrap Dealers with Proper Loading Equipment Only.
