Welcome the 1303 Ditmas Ave Pop Up  Estate Sale.  This 1950's home was the primary residence of a prominent family for more than 50 years.  A magnificent corner brick house in the landmarked district of Ditmas Park this home is sure to impress, spanning over almost 6,000 interior sq. ft. and full of amazing treasures both new and old. Everything in the home is priced to sell and needs to be picked up at the time of sale. There is also an option for local delivery available for larger purchases through the following week for an additional cost. Perfectly located 2 blocks from the Q/B trains on Foster Avenue, Newkirk Plaza, and a short distance to the trendy Restaurant Row along Cortelyou Rd.

 

While we love to make our customers happy, our first priority is to our clients and to make them the greatest return possible on their family’s estate.  We feel that we price the inventory fairly for our buyers from the outset and will begin to discount/entertain offers as a means to stimulate sales and move the inventory. This process varies from sale to sale, therefore we do not offer blanket discounts but we will negotiate until the final moments of the sale! 

 

The careers, interests and talents of this family have accumulated a variety of vintage goodies. The lady of the home lived a very fabulous and luxurious lifestyle as the contents of the home reflect her lifestyle.  She was an accomplished Interior Designer, Semstress and Whig maker and was very involved in the local Jewish Community. The contents of the home include a wide variety of Antique, Art, Wedgwood China, sets of Silver, Crystal/glass entertainment pieces, Chandeliers, Lamps, Books, Sewing  supplies and Fabric.  Not to mention an amazing collection of beautiful gowns and vintage clothing, purses, linens, and both men’s and women’s wigs in every cut and color imaginable. 

 

There is an antique bed, oversized rugs and runners, multiple glass China display cabinets, dressers, desks, armoires, chests of drawers, custom vintage curtains and cornice boards,  antique framed art and prints.  There is also a beautiful collection of antique mirrors, rugs and lighting fixtures.  Amongst her collection there are hundreds of hardback books both in English and Religious books and artifacts in Hebrew. There are also rolls of amazing vintage wall paper and so many more vintage surprises. The basement has retro appliances, heaters, fans, stoves, ovens, sinks and lawn supplies etc.  This home has history.

 

Vintage technology - Assortment of vintage radios, cameras, clocks, cassette tape machines and an old whig drying machine.
