My sale this week is for Alex & Mary Alexander.
The Alexander's moved to Corpus Christi in 1950. Alex (or M.T.) served our country in the US Navy fighting in WWII and survived the Pearl Harbor bombing. They lived the rest of their lives in Corpus Christi and raised 3 sons. They owned and operated an A&W Rootbeer drive-in and Mary was the cook for many years. You will see lots of seashells here for crafts. Mary loved making seashell bookends, crafts, cards and pictures for all her friends. They loved their church and attending the Hooks games. After Alex & Mary sold the drive-in, they owned and operated an entertainment business. This lovely couple were married for 74 years and 9 months. Their home is full of everything they loved to do.
