All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied by Van Massey Auction & Realty. It is the buyers responsibility to inspect all items prior to bidding. All sales are final.

Buyer must pick up items within the specified time frame stated. A $25 a day storage fee will be added if items are not picked up in the time frame without prior arrangements being made before the auction closes. In the event of non-payment of items, the bidder shall assume all court costs associated with collection of payment in court. Any debt collection or dispute proceedings will be heard in Lincoln County, TN.

Van Massey Auctioneers has attempted to provide accurate descriptions of all items, however, it is the bidder's responsibility to determine the condition and suitability of each lot. Printed statements or descriptions by Van Massey Auction staff are provided in good faith and are matters of opinion only.

Titles will be mailed to new owner within 21 days of end of auction. NO TITLES WILL BE GIVEN OUT AT PICKUP.

For items located at an alternate location, payment must first be made to our office in Fayetteville, TN via wire transfer, cash, or cashier's check before you can pickup your items.

The buyer is responsible for arranging shipping for larger equipment. All items must be paid for in the specified pickup times. If an item is being shipped, the buyer must notify Van Massey Auctioneers at least 24 hours in advance of the item being pickup. Items can only be loaded during normal business hours. (CST)
All items must be paid for in full before being loaded.

No Buybacks: Sellers are contractually prohibited from bidding on lots they have consigned to the auction.

Soft Close: This auction has a soft close feature, meaning if a bid is placed within the last 2 minutes of a lot closing then time will be extended an additional 2 minutes onto the time left remaining.

Stagger Close: This auction features a stagger close which means items end in several second increments. each auction may have a different stagger time amount. larger auctions will have a smaller stagger time to ensure the entire auction ends in a timely manner. An example of a stagger close is this. The auction is set to start ending at 7pm. This does not mean all lots will end at 7pm. If the stagger time is set to 10 seconds then lot 1 will end at 7:00:00pm, lot 2 will end t 7:00:10, lot 3 will end at 7:00:20 and so on until all lots have ended. Note: bidding can extend on a lot if a bid is placed withing the last 2 minutes of the item ending. See the paragraph above to explain the "soft close' feature.

Local Pick-up for items will be on TUESDAY , WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY August 17th-19th from 10am til 4pm ONLY!. All items purchased must be picked up and paid for on this day. No exceptions. Please be prepared to pay for and pick up items on this day before you place a bid on any items. Pickup Location is 31 LYNCHBURG HWY Fayetteville, TN 37334.
