This is the very interesting and impressive estate of the late Dr. Enslie Schilb Jr, and his wife Peggy. The Schilb’s traveled extensively all over the world, including places like Austria, Ecuador, Germany, the Caribbean, Hong Kong, Peru, Spain, Yugoslavia and the United States. Many of the antiques came over from old Europe when the family lived in Spain during part of Dr. Schilb’s service as a Colonel in the Air Force, as well as a dentist. The grandfather, Dr. Enslie Schilb Sr, was also a dentist before him too. 

The Schilbs would regularly purchase antique furniture, Persian rugs, etc and then have those items shipped back here to Tampa FL where they lived. They also purchased a large variety of smaller antiques from all over the globe. This stunning and very large two-story home is literally bursting at the seams with antiques! Friends of the family would sometimes ask to come over just to “look in awe at the incredible museum of antiques that the Schilb’s had collected over the years”. 

You’ll want to definitely mark your calendars for this estate sale! We’re sure you’ll be in awe like we were, once you enter!

PARKING:

The street that the house is located on is very narrow, more so than normal, so Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will be on site each day, to help us deal with any parking issues. You may have to park a block or two away and walk to the house, but if you’d like, feel free to drop other passengers off before parking. Just please do your best to park without blocking neighbor’s driveways and also try to park so that other cars can get past yours as well. Thank you!
