Terms & Tips for Sales:
FACE MASKS/COVERINGS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES. Methods of payment: Cash and Credit/Debit Cards. Address to be released at 5am on July 30th. First come, first serve. If needed, we will start with 15 people allowed and then one out, one in. There will be a 30 minute shopping time allowed (while there is a line). Once the majority of expensive smaller items sell, I will increase the number of people inside the home… I do not ship. You must be present to purchase items. Valuables are removed from residence and returned the morning of sale. Jewelry area is limited to 2 customers at any given time. Golden Bear Estate will not personally monitor entry lists; it is up to the people who are waiting to monitor themselves. But due to a growing number of issues with peoples pre-lists and arguments that have arisen, please note the following guidelines: 1) sign up yourself and only yourself. 2) You must stay close to the estate. You cannot sign up and then go back home. Certainly if you need to go to the restroom or get a quick cup of coffee that is ok…Just make sure you let someone else know who is also waiting or leave a time dated note. 3) Enjoy the quiet time before the excitement of sale. Thank you for making this an enjoyable experience for everyone. Sales tax will be collected, unless you provide proof of a valid California Resale Permit Number. If you do not provide copy of permit, you will have to pay the sales tax. Sales tax rate in Hayward is 10.75%. Rain or Shine! If you wish to buy an item, put your name & telephone number on the price tag. Please bring help if you plan to buy large pieces. There will not be any help available to move items. I will not sell an item if cannot be moved safely. Items must be removed on the sale date. All items are sold as-is with no refunds, returns, or exchanges. We are not responsible for items left behind/unattended. There are no restrooms available for use at this location. Do not enter marked off areas or doors. Do not disturb occupant. Be mindful of neighbors and do not block driveways. No parking in house driveway. House is alarmed. Thank you for attending! |
