This is a no reserve auction.


All bids must be placed online at www.estate48.com


Bids may be placed any time until auction close.  Any bid placed in the last few minutes leads to extended bidding of 3 minutes on any individual lot.

Winning bidders must pick their items up at the  location to be provided to winning bidders.


The exact address will be provided on winning bidder’s invoice  following the auction completion.


Pickup dates & times will be provided.


Delivery and shipping are available.

Transfer of any item from a home to our showroom will incur a transfer fee.  Storage fees will begin accruing for any items left at our showroom that have not been picked up.  If the storage and transfer fees exceed the cost of the item, E48 reserves the right to sell the item to recuperate any outstanding fees or charges.
Buyer's will receive emails and or other communications from us if they are a winning bidder. 
Any Item Not Scheduled for pick up or scheduled for shipping within 7 days will be considered abandoned.  No refund will be provided.

20% buyers premium added on all lots purchased.**


Mi tax of 6% added to all final bids.  Any company seeking tax exempt status must have their paper work in prior to auction end.  Any late tax exempt submissions will take effect for the next auction.







 







Identification - all bidders are required to register on our website www.estate48.com  to bid.


Addition to or withdrawal from sale - the auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw from sale any of the items listed.  Auctioneer also reserves the right to add or modify lots as needed.  However, a lot will not be significantly modified once a bid has been received.


The auctioneer has the right at his absolute discretion to refuse any bid. The highest bidder shall be the buyer at the hammer price.


Dispute between bidders - if any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneer may decide the same or may immediately put the lot up for sale again, and resell to the highest bidder. The decision of the auctioneer shall be final and absolute.


Condition of items sold - the auctioneer shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness of, estimated selling price of, or defect in any lot, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance will be made or sale set aside on account of any incorrectness, error in cataloguing, or any imperfection not noted. No deduction will be allowed on damaged articles as all goods being exposed for public exhibition are sold “as is” and without recourse.


Manner of payment - all lots are to be paid in full by cash, credit card or debit card or electronic payment methods we accept before items may be received.  No Checks.  Once the auction is over and winning bidders have been notified, Auctioneer will charge winning bidders registered credit card unless winning bidder informs Estate 48 of his intention to pay in cash or some other method accepted by Estate 48.  Winning bidders will receive an invoice with their total and payment methods.  Winning bidders will be informed of the pickup location and times.     Winning Bidders wishing to have their items shipped will receive a revised invoice with shipping and handling fees.


All measurements and sizes - are approximate.


Minimum bids - may be placed on some items.


Removal/pickup – estate48.com hosts internet based auctions from homes throughout the area as well as from its warehouse location.  All items must be picked up at those locations during the scheduled pickup days and time.  


All purchases must be removed from the auction site without damaging any property and within the time stated in the auction listing. All costs, responsibility and risk of item removal shall be borne by buyer and, in every case; buyer will use prudence and care in such removal.


If, for any reason, a buyer fails to remove any winning items within the alloted time, Buyer forfeits said items and they will be considered abandoned.  There is no refund for abandoned items.


In the event purchases are scheduled for local delivery, auctioneer shall not be responsible for goods damaged in transit or goods not removed within the alloted times.


Claims - no claims will be allowed after goods are removed from premises.


Personal and property risk - persons attending during exhibition, sale or removal of goods assume all risks of damage of or loss to person and property and specifically release the auctioneer from liability therefore. Neither the auctioneer, the home owner nor his principal shall be liable by reason of any defect in or condition of the premises on which the sale is held.


Records - the record of sale kept by the auctioneer and clerk will be taken as final in the event of any dispute.


All lots - to be sold as is, where is. All sales final. NO REFUNDS!


This sale is being conducted pursuant to section 2328 of the uniform commercial code and section 53.5 of the penal code.


Disclaimer:  Estate 48 auctions is associated with, conducts business with, or is affiliated with numerous businesses in the community including but not limited to american cards and supplies, inc., sportscard central, api, inc. and others.  Members of these organizations, their family members or friends may bid on items in our auctions for their own uses.  We do not allow or condone shill bidding of any sort.  Individuals associated or affiliated with these or other companies may bid on items for their own use and benefit. 


Seller bidding:


The seller, their agent or Estate 48 reserve the right to bid on the seller's item in order to protect their investment or reserve bid. Sellers will be responsible for all fees associated with buying back and listing their items. There are no discounts for buying back your items.


Additional terms and conditions - any additional terms or conditions of sale, added by auctioneer, shall be announced in the individual auction listing.

A note re: buyer’s premiums...


A buyer’s premium is a percentage additional charge on the hammer price (winning bid at auction) of the lot that must be paid by the winner. It is charged by the auctioneer to cover administrative expenses.
If the hammer price (final winning bid) is $100.00.  You will pay
$100.00 hammer price
$20.00 buyer’s premium
$120.00 plus any taxes or shipping/delivery fees.
