From New Jersey, She graduated from UCLA.. He went to Stanford and studied Engineering.  While both college educated in the 40's, she became a wonderful home maker, making a name for herself in volunteerism.  You might remember her from the Turnstyle shop in San Mateo, where she was the sweet women charge:)  She even has a perpetual scholarship in her name.  He was an engineer, and worked for Guy F. Atkinson for decades.  They loved all things of the Theater and saw so many shows, they also loved to travel, mostly on river cruises.  At 94 and 95, they will be writing their next chapter of their lives together in the Grass Valley area.  They lived in Burlingame for most of their married lives and raised 2 lovely sons.
 
Fun family history:  His Father was Charles "Chic" Sales. Of Vaudeville fame:
 
A member of her family is George Koch (Kotch)
There are several of his works offered at the sale this weekend.
