Bidding starts at $1 with NO RESERVES! All items MUST BE picked up on November 6 from 10 AM to 1 PM unless shipping or delivery arrangements have been previously agreed to by Caring Transitions. Pickup time slots will be coordinated with SignUpGenius.

Bidding Terms & Conditions:

Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you are the winning bidder, you are committed to purchasing and picking up your item(s) at designated pickup date/time. If an item is eligible for shipping you are responsible for making and paying for shipping/delivery arrangements. Please do not bid if you do not plan to purchase.
If you bid, you MUST be available or arrange for the pickup of your purchases on the scheduled pickup date, unless you have made prior shipping/delivery arrangements.
Bring necessary containers, tools and help for picking up specific items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor or basement. Some items will be lightly packed in a cardboard box. If you wish to also take the box in which the items are stored please be prepared to pay $3.00 per box.
Invoices are emailed to winning Bidders once the sale has completely closed. Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice and full payment must be made by 2:00 PM on day following the end of the auction. You will have the option to pay with PayPal after you click to check out. After clicking PayPal you will be directed to your PayPal account to complete the transaction.
If we do not hear from you by the full payment deadline, we reserve the right to resell your items to the next highest bidder. Failure to pay for your purchase will result in suspension from the CTBids system. Reinstatement after suspension requires payment of the original invoice amount plus a $25 fee.
Shipping is available for SOME ITEMS at the Buyer's expense. We use the PirateShip.com service to ship via USPS Priority mail. There is a minimum handling charge of $10 per lot to cover labor and materials in addition to shipping cost, which will be invoiced separately through Invoice ASAP.com. Lots requiring more than 10 minutes to package will be charged at a $1 per minute basis.
Not all Lots can be shipped. If you require shipping, please send an email before bidding to RockvilleAuction@CaringTransitions.com to inquire and inform us you will need shipping.
All items must be fully paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the property without Payment. Therefore, if Total Payment is not received before the Local Pickup date & time, the items will be forfeited and bidding privileges may be revoked. Disposition of items is performed at the discretion of Caring Transitions.
The exact address of the scheduled pickup will be on the invoice e-mailed after the auction closes.
Buyers will be provided the opportunity to schedule a specific pickup time window on the pick-up day with SignUpGenius. All items not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold. No refunds will be made.
A 15% Buyer's Premium will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced.
We have made every effort to describe Lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS, and WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic, or mechanical device. Dimensions given may be approximate.
Listings times have a soft close. Extra time may be added to ending times to allow bidders more time to win. This will give you time to receive an outbid notification and place a higher bid and mimics what happens in a live auction where the auctioneer asks for any last bids before making the sale.
