TERMS & CONDITIONS
For Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance Online Auction 1. Online bidding opens Friday, Dec. 3, 2021 at 6 AM and closes on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021 at 7 PM 2. CVBCA does not have a shipping department. Items sold are for pick-up only. 3. Online Auction is open to supporters of CVBCA, survivors, friends and the general public. 4. Bidders wishing to bid online must register on website (www.gatewayauction.com) with valid address, phone number and email information. THE CREDIT CARD YOU ENTER WILL NOT BE CHARGED. 5. The auctioneer/auction committee is the sole determinant as to who is the successful bidder. The auctioneer/committee has the right to reject any bid. In the event of any dispute, under extreme circumstances, the auctioneer/auction committee has the right to reopen bidding on a sold lot. 6. Once an item is sold, the buyer assumes full risk and responsibility for said items. CVBCA is not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise. 7. Everything is sold "as is" unless announced otherwise. 8. All items purchased must be paid for by December 11, 2021 unless other arrangements are made by calling the CVBCA at 717-263-7191. 9. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, personal check made out to CVBCA or credit card. 10. In the event of identical bids, the earliest received bid will be recorded as the highest. 11. Successful bidders will be notified within 24 hours of the end of the auction. 12. Items must be picked up at CVBCA office, 344 Leedy Way East, Chambersburg, PA. 13. Unless prior arrangements have been made with CVBCA, any merchandise not picked up within two weeks of sale date will be considered abandoned. 14. By participating in the auction, bidders agree to all terms and conditions of auction. 15. There is NO buyer’s premium for this benefit auction. |

HOLIDAY ITEMS: Fall Harvest tray; Santa Wreath; Decorative Farm Truck; Antique Christmas Sleigh; Gnome Christmas; Collection of Santas; Christmas Bundle; Vintage Christmas Collection of items including picture frame, throw, candles and more. OTHER ITEMS: jewelry; purses/handbags; artwork; kitchen items; cookbooks; books; gift cards and more ONLINE BIDDING: Open to CVBCA supporters, survivors, friends and the community. BIDDING STARTS: Friday, Dec. 3 at 6 AM BIDDING ENDS: Tuesday, Dec. 7 at 7 PM. If a bid is placed within the last (2) minutes the auction will automatically extend for an additional (2) minutes. PICK-UP LOCATION: All items will be picked up at CVBCA office, 344 Leedy Way East in Chambersburg. PICK-UP TIMES: Wednesday, Dec. 8 1-7 p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 9, 1-7 p.m.; Friday, Dec. 10, 1-7 p.m.; and Saturday, Dec. 11, 1-7 p.m. Other pick-up arrangements made by calling CVBCA at 717-263-7191. Pick-up ONLY, No Shipping available. Merchandise not picked up within two weeks of sale date will be considered abandoned. AUCTIONEER’S NOTE: Now in its 25th year of service, the CVBCA provides support, education and information on breast cancer to men and women in Franklin County, Pa, through community awareness activities, public education and the promotion of early detection of the disease. CVBCA are always free to those in need and include the MammaGift Project, care packages, financial aid, events and activities and more. Funding stays in the community to serve those in need locally. Auction proceeds will benefit CVBCA. TERMS: Cash, check or credit card. Items sold AS IS. No Returns/Refunds. By bidding, you are agreeing to all terms and conditions of auction.
